I just looked at my CLZ game app and didn’t realize that I had 151 3DS games and 90 DS games. Majority of them have been in boxes for years. I still play my 3DS but only RPGs, so they take months to beat due to work and family. Great video
I still can’t believe you traded your entire 3DS collection haha, but you walked away with a TON of GC games that made a nice dent in what remains to be acquired for a complete set 👍.

Focusing on a specific colletion really does help a lot, I focused on collecting Final Fantasy and in less than a year I already had to use another shelf to display stuff

It was in January 2022 and I didn't sell them to Rick's store. I sold them to Rick directly for his collection and they are still in his room. I also made it clear from the start that I'd be getting the collection back and documenting the journey on UA-cam
I just cut all handheld stuff from my own collection was tough but it was for a greater good like you. Keep going man!

Nice! I have some of those games, like chibi-robo and ultimate muscle, bought them at GameStop back when they still had GameCube games at the very end of their cycle. I probably have 150 GameCube games in total. I’m a gamer more than a collector so I’m quite satisfied.

I just got some of the really pricey GameCube titles here in Denmark:
Luigi's Manson, Killer 7 and Mario Kart: Double Dash
All of those games are $70 or above. My GameCube collection is only at 22 games, but I have some great heavy-hitters and some games I just wanted to do to nostalgia or try out.

I’m not a huge GC fan anymore. Used to be but it became less interesting, my time is more limited now and I’m moving on to other console platforms. I’m also not a huge Game Boy fan anymore either; I haven’t played a single one for over half a decade. I guess you also don’t have enough time to beat all of your GC games in your set; you want to buy the rest of the games in the set. Do the best you can. 60 left to go because you found 19 more.

I never understood the obsession with Gamecube. It has some serious bangers with Metroid Prime 2 being one of my all time favorite games. But the PS2 just has way more bangers and lots of obscure hidden gems.

I was thinking the same thing until I scrolled into the comment. Then I asked myself "why I am watching this video"?.
I loved my GameCube massively, the Platinum version. 1st game was Metroid Prime. This is still one of my favorite games to this day.
I had a great collection at about 25 games or so that I earned working minimum wage.
About 10 were phenomenal, and the other 15 were a lot of fun. This is in line with every other console.
Right now I'm battling with the PSVR2. I love a few games, but you'll never see me doing what you are doing. Nearly all available titles are digital only, which I believe is a very poor decision.
There will never be a dude wandering into a pawn shop or game expo picking up a box and calling a classic title a "banger" ever again if we keep going down this road.
