I think all the viewers out there will agree with me that granny is somehow our granny now and you and Tim and your boys are somehow our family now. Another way to make monkey bread is to buy the frozen rolls by Bridgeford Bread. Keep frozen, roll in melted butter, then in cinnamon and sugar. Place in bundt pan and let rise completely. Then bake! So good.

Here Valery. A little trick I learned cooking sausage. Pour in about 1/2 cup of water and cook till water is gone. The sausages are more tender and cooked thru
Thanks for the tip. That's how I cook hotdogs. Never thought to cook sausage that way. I will definitely try it out. 😊

Add a splash of water and a lid to finish the sausage, it steams them then you can open the lid and evaporate the water and serve!

Valerie you can add heavy plastic sheet for a cat door to keep out the wind , you can also hang a strand of Christmas lights on the ceiling with glue to keep the cat house warm.
I’ve read about folks that build dog & cat houses out of storage containers like you did & they add foam sheets for insulation. You can order a self heating pet pad for Milo to lay on, supposed to keep her warm by using her body heat to generate heat to keep the pad warm.
Dust dirt and pet hair always shows up more with dark floors. My daughter found that out afterwards. So with there last house she went with a light to medium color. Now when she does mop she can’t believe that there was that much dirt on the floor because you couldn’t see it.
the trims on door ways looked so good ,who would think bit wood make that much difference , i bet even nicer with floor in ,so cant wait ,great watch thank you for upload

Hi Valerie, you should check out Little Village homestead. She makes breakfast burritos and egg, sauage breakfast sandwiches and freezes them.. What a time-saver that would be for you. So quick to re-heat in oven or microwave. She also says if your making dinner, double the recipe and freeze one. Its helped me alot!!! Especially while you're working on the house. Just pop a frozen dinner in the oven. Love to you and your family. ❤️

Agreed my church family means everything to me too. Having like minded folks to pray for you daily and wish nothing but the best for you is truly a blessing.
Not everyone is religious, there are plenty of other ways to make friends.
Im just blown away with your grocery prices. I grew up in Texas and I go back fairly frequently. But not since covid. Our prices here in grocery story have sky rocketed. From one shop to another things can go up 70cents to a Dollar. Yesterday I bought store brand 2 litres of milk for $3.10. ❤I notice you got a gallon for near to the same price it takes 4 quarts to make a gallon and 1 litre is a little bit more than a quart. So I’m 1/2 of what you get for nearly the same money. I noticed you big container of yoghurt was $ 3.00 something and I pay anywhere from 7-8$ for the same size…. Country roads take me home! Can buy a can of biscuit here…I have to make. From scratch… most things. Maybe I give monkey bread a try! Thanks for giving your Tim a hug… in front of us all. It was lovely to see!😊

I used to make this recipe many years ago, but at that time I made my own sweet dough. Also I rolled the balls in butter then in the cinnamon and sugar. Didn’t have to make a sauce, it made its own sauce.😊😊

Hi Valerie - Thank you for taking us grocery shopping with you. Since I only shop for myself, I was amazed by the amount of food that you need to buy for a family of 6 - plus 3 pets! The prices at Walmart seemed a bit high to me, but I am sure that they are the most reasonable prices in your area. This was another fantastic video. Good luck and take care.

I buy for my husband and me, and I use digital coupons, BOGO, and what’s on sale. I feel so bad for families with children. You do a great job of feeding your family healthy meals. God bless you all!

The grocery haul was enlightening for someone that lives in Canada The chicken you bought would have been about 25.00 Canadian and bananas are .89 cents a pound Everything is much cheaper your way I've been going to make monkey bread so many times but your recipe is alot faster than the one I have I like the house you have for Milo He seemed happy in his little bin and if it gets wet it doesn't matter Glad you got vinyl plank flooring It's so easy to clean and indestructible for animals Mine is 8 years old and looks like new and so fast to put down My whole house took half a day to install and my house is your size 🇨🇦🦩

Since you’re making everyone’s plates; wouldn’t it save a lot of cleanup if you served straight out of the pots on the stove? We do that all the time country style!
I once suggested that to Val. She would like a dishwasher (she would need 2). But dishwasher or not, it would save so much work. And many casseroles, pots, crocks, etc are attractive enough for serveware (unless you homestead at Downton Abby). Unnecessary dishwashing, drying, storing wastes energy. Ease, efficiency, innovative ideas leaves more space for other creative pursuits.
PS.-this would work even if the family serve themselves.

It doesn’t always call for canned biscuits. My Mom made monkey bread over 30 years ago and made the biscuits from scratch. She didn’t add nuts. My grandmother also made it too. It’s delicious!
