Every guitar or bass cover should be done like this. Music low enough to hear the actual playing of the instrument! Almost all UA-cam covers the music to instrument volume level is out of whack. Great song, great cover mate!
I didn't know who Clutch was when I saw them live with Mastodon at Red Rocks.... what a way to be introduced to a band.... it blew my fucking mind away. I have seen hundreds of shows... but that one was unique and special. If they ever play again there, you should go. everyone should go. It's unlike anything else, the acoustics just ger ROCKED by Clutch, its like their music was made for the mountains.
Thank you for posting this one. I'm beginning bass at 43, and you just sealed the deal for me to take this one to my instructor and say, "... teach me!"
You're never too old to learn! Best of luck with it. I'd love to start adding more vids to this channel again one day, I'm just so preoccupied with other music projects/bands at the moment, trying to find the time is impossible. Still, never say never!
@@ctrlaltbass6990 Would it be possible to get this video only shot from the top view you have set up? I would just like to be able to slow it down in spots to try and work on my efficiency with the different parts. i.e. hand positioning.
Nicely done man.... thanks for sharing! I don't know the first thing about playing bass, but I think it's cool that you provide tabs for those that do. Dan Maines sure kicks out some good solid and driving bass riffs! Nice cover ;0)
the thing i love about them is individually they're all such great musicians. Can't think of the drummers name off of the top of my head but he's absolutely killer behind the kit.
Thanks matey! Unfortunately it might be on hold in a few weeks time whilst I move house and get a new studio set up but will try get a few more vids uploaded before!

Baffles me how the instrument is so overlooked.

Even though "the man" plays a Ric and with his fingers you nailed it, nice tone on the P as well, great video
Bass sounds bloody amazing. Clutch's bassist always has incredible bass lines
I have always found this song unbelievably good. Insane groove. Well done bro🤘⚡️🎸

Clutch is definitely a favorite band of mine. I saw them in detroit and it was great, great songs and great sound

Hey Boss, can you do me a favor? Redo this song, but add Firebirds immediately after like the album? That would be awesome!
Great job
Robot hive exodus was my number 1 album
Great cover and thanks for the transcription. Any idea what your VT settings were?
Totally missed this comment... sorry, absolutely no recollection!
