I moved to Allen in 1983 as a little kid. Still here today. It's absolutely crazy to have been able to watch this city grow up into what it is today.

I just want city or environment for my child like I had when I was a child. I’m from Afghanistan and I moved here when the Russian invasion happened but I was 2 weeks old. I got play with all the kids in my neighborhood at the end of the street corner. We all knew each other and our mother knew everyone. Being middle eastern I feel like I can get away saying this but I don’t agree how certain neighborhoods just get took over mainly by Indians. Indians are great people and kick our kids asses when it comes to academics but they need to understand the American Culture. No cooking curry In a 2nd kitchen in the backward. They don’t say hello or try to get another neighbors, and I’m so tired of them walking around with their sandals and ethnic close. It’s just not the same America. And now everyone is so racially sensitive as well. I’m 37 years old and I’m not trying to be racist but Every single black friend or person has either stolen from me or try to take advantage of me with that said I see how white people feel uncomfortable with me looking Indian once I drop my son off. He’s very light skinned but back to Allen, the east side has a lot of old homes with and underground community. You can definitely feel the difference on the west side.
Do you have an affordable piece of land to accommodate 3 to 4 Modular homes for a family group with their own homes on the same property.

Allen is gonna be way to overpopulated and it’s gonna be insane they also need to build more high schools too because ahs is turning dangerous and it’s unsafe. Allen isn’t a small town so they need to stop treating it like one.

A lot of less desirable people are moving to Allen so their kids can play sports at the best athletic school around. This has resulted in a serious drop in restaurants and service in general. The crime rate is probably higher now as well. Don't be fooled, Allen is high priced and not that great overall.
STFU, not everybody can move to Allen, and Allen schools don't offer bad education to their students.
I lived in Allen TX from 2004 - 2016 in Waterford Park Subdivision (Northwest). Work took me out of state. My family loved it! Lots of parks, bike trails, restaurants, and a safe place to raise a family. Without a doubt, it's the highest place to compete in HS sports, it attracts the best of the best. The police would respond in less than 1 minute when I called about a suspicious car parked in front of my home or a stranger in our neighborhood. I notice the crime index is better than Highland Park TX & comparable to Southlake TX. Not sure what experiences you had.
The people moving into Allen need to show proof of income before being able to move into our city. I'm thinking about proposing this at the next city council meeting. I know it's controversial, but it would be very helpful in separating us from the less desirables.
East Allen is a complete dump, they need to build a brick wall on both sides of exchange east. I live in the lost Creek Ranch division and I feel like I’m driving through South Dallas when I come home.
I believe you are referring to Southeast Allen. Though northeast Allen isn't the same as West Allen.
You've obviously never been in an actual ghetto....
They need to bulldoze that area! I'm so tired of these poor people. They destroy the landscape for the rest of us.
