i dont have apache folder. What is it like?
You forgot to tell the users that they need to install an apache server such as XAMPP VS WAMP before installing the phpmyadmin.
you didn't watch the video he installed in on an apache server just renamed the folder as localhost... you do NOT need XAMPP or WAMP to run phpmyadmin

Amazing man, i had a little trouble but just went and downloaded another phpmyadmin zip folder since the one i've used didn't contained the config.inc file
It's first named Config.sample.inc. you must rename it

I'm not running Apache on my workstation and don't need to, but want to use phpmyadmin to administer a remote installation of MySQL, How about someone doing a video that explains that process without local Apache?

I tried to put it in the HTML folder via ngnix and it gave mem 403 forbidden error.. why?

For all who have this Error : "MySQLi extension missing phpMyAdmin error".
This is the way you can fix it:
In file php.ini find the link that says extension=mysqli. (->i is important at the end!!!)
Replace by: extension="C:\php\ext\php_mysqli.dll". (->actually your php directory)
Restart apache.

i found apache folder but can't find localhost in it
localhost/phpmyadmin/ was not loading after following all mentioned steps then I extracted phpMyAdmin zip file to this folder C:\Apache24\htdocs\phpmyadmin and it worked like charm. This video didn't mention any prerequisites, here are they (install them first):

use MySql db username(root) and password at localhost/phpmyadmin/ page

In your Apache configuration(httpd.conf), find the line for DirectoryIndex. You'll need to add index.php to the list. For example, mine looks like:
DirectoryIndex index.php index.html home.pl index.cgi

@Kevin Perry It still did not work. Reading deeper into the file with the URL localhost/phpmyadmin/index.php did get results but I'm unsure if I should proceed.
