It is XAMPP installation guide. PhpMyAdmin begins @7min but there is no information how to really install it standalone (with any HTTP server and PHP).

phpMyAdmin depends on some other stuff to run. It seems that XAMPP is an all in one package to get phpMyAdmin running.

If you already have a DB the credentials are the same that you use to access mysql/mariadb. Try root as user and blank as pwd.
For php administration use the credentials that you created in the installation.
