I take care of my betta like it’s my child. Fish keeping is like having a zen garden for me. I love to see my fish happy, and I love getting new plant and having them flourish. It’s a fun hobby that I hope more people find!
I had one a few years back I had it for about 2 year a friend had it before me but it died :( what the correct way to keep one so it doesn’t die do I need to have I filter or can I just change the water every week or two? And how big does the tank need to be can I use my 3 gallon one?
Fatal Soldier you can use a 3 gallon with a betta but if you really want it to flourish go for a five gallon. I would definitely recommend a filter as a first time fish keeper. Also take some time to learn about the nitrogen cycle in fish tanks it’s super important. I recommend a betta as a fist fish but if you want to get a different fish there are so many options.
With all the videos now available and gorgeous tanks to be seen, I think interest has to grow. And so much information is available compared to when I started in about 1990. I can’t believe some of the misinformation I was given trying to start a tank.

What an exceptionally nice tank for a beautiful Betta! I really liked how your camera did an excellent close-up of the Betta. I very rarely see that on most video tutorials I've watched!!
I'm so inspired by this video that I want to do the same for my Blue Mustard betta. I've never spent $20 on a betta. Now that I have, he needs to step up and show off (😀😊)
What's the 5-watt LED you put on the tank at 4:53? It looks perfect, and obviously the plants like it. I can't find any link to that lamp in your links/notes. Thanks!

Hey there bud, GREAT VID. Love your content. I myself am an aquascaping fanatic and have really enjoyed your videos. I was just wondering, I saw your vid and all but, I noticed that you used a screw to hold the driftwood together. I loved your video and I love the animal, just concerned that the screw would rust and then kill everything in the tank. Have you had any problems? Either than that, love your channel and keep it up. 👌🏼👍🏼
Do you scare bettas if you put your hand in the tank? Because one of my friends said that she used to put her hand in her bettas tank and it would swim around it and i just wanted to know if they actually do that?
I use a dechlorinator that acts within 24 hours but don’t cycle my tank. I had my betta for almost a year. Did I do wrong? I also got my betta from Petco..

theres types of superglue that are aquarium safe
Cyanoacrylate superglue is fish and invertebrate safe!

This looks great! Is super glue toxic for the fish?

How’d you get rid of that white layer on top of the spider wood? I think it’s fungus
