This made me realize something- That dark souls isn’t about the character you control, or about the bosses. It’s about the friends you meet along that way. I remember when I first play this game I had about 5 friends. And this game- this masterpiece gave me the courage to find more irl friends though NPCs. From the great onion knight, to greirat, they gave me hope when I needed it most. And now when I need it just as much, elden ring is just around the corner. Thank you fromsoft, for the friends, to the happiness.
This is beautiful, it warms my heart seeing everyone who you meet a long your journey. They give you strength and sanity when everything seems to not go right. It is touching yet so sickening how everything ends.. Dark Souls series especially DS3 is my favorite game. I felt more emotion with this game then any other from pure joy to hopelessness. To all the unkindled, May The Flames Guide Thee.
I've found some other places I'd call cozy. I found a particular spot of a top of a wall looking out over the ocean and the sunset. I go there sometimes and just let my character stand there enjoying the scenery
I feel like you captured the essence of Dark Soul's characters perfectly. I especially admire Siegward: with all the hardships encountered in Lothric and being unkindled as well as the Grave Promise he is trying to uphold, he still manages to stop for a toast along the way. He tries to make peace before combat, he makes Estes Soup and offers to share out of pure generosity, and he saves Greirat seemingly because he could. On his deathbed he then ends with a toast to his friends.
Finally! Been looking for a video like this. Not like the other lazy bullshit videos that throw a song and some lazy clips into it. This one has some emotion to it at least. Thanks

" I may be but small but I will die a colossus" what a fucking badass character
Short king.
The Firelink Shrine was the only place that felt cozy
Probably because it was the only truly safe place
I've found some other places I'd call cozy. I found a particular spot of a top of a wall looking out over the ocean and the sunset. I go there sometimes and just let my character stand there enjoying the scenery
Greirat: goodbye for now, friend.
Me: goodbye, buddy.
**HE FUCKING DIES**
Me: oh.
And in NG+1 You never let him go to the castle, NEVER

Elegantly executed my friend
So heart worming and sad
I’ve played this game for so many hours over the past few years. It’s gonna be sad to leave it behind, but it’s almost time to move on to Elden Ring.
