- Destiny 1 Daybreak Nightfall Strikes were incredibly fun! Destiny 2 does not have Daybreak Nightfalls unfortunately, but thankfully we can still go back to D1 for the things D2 doesn't have. Nightfalls in Destiny 1 are still fun! Destiny Nightfall Strike this week!

I remember the days when you would take the ice breaker into a nightfall.
Just find a camping spot or somewhere thats glitched and you'd complete it.
Me and and a buddy of mine decided to make new characters on D1 and we’ve been replaying everything. It’s the most fun I’ve had on a game in a while .
Wish I still had a PS5/4 to go back. Still have the game with all DLC

I'm so glad you still cover D1...it holds up SO well still to this day (My only gripe being 30fps and low FOV but honestly, those I can live with)

Prayers for the day you can hack the PS5 to force PS4 games into 60 fps or more. Sekiro can do it natively which is pretty dope.
@@alter6243 the PS5 can't even run media off a thumb drive, there's no "hacking" that lock bocks

I know it's Arc burn, but seeing a Handcannon 1-shot red bars is crazy. That is a problem in Destiny 2 that I feel like isn't talked about enough, the average primary (not including SMGs because they do good damage, hence why everyone uses them) doesn't do any damage. In equivalent content to this video, like Master Nightfalls, I feel like Handcannons take 2-3 shots to take down red bars, even if the burn is on your side.
I think thats 1 of the problems the 40% buff to all primary exotics was supposed to "fix" but honestly all it did was leave legendarys in an even worst spot
Yeah all primaries are a joke master content upwards, especially with kinetics
Also ammo drops are still complete ass

I was just thinking about the nexus strike, and how my friends and I would camp at the entrance of the boss room and kill the minotaur that spawned. Fun times
I also remember at the end we always say to each other "you get shards" at the reward screen

u see how tough it is in the d1 nightfall? i prefer this on the GM in d2 bcuz in d1 u can deal alot of damage as well as the enemies but in d2 it takes half the mag or more to kill a red bar enemy
Which means that primaries in D2 need a damage buff to feel better in harder content
Yep. The resilience buff made GMs a joke, zero challenge. I’d rather just the player be incredibly easy to kill but output more damage

I miss getting the scoring system in strikes especially when medals would pop up, it made it so much more interesting and the loot was so much better than D2
D1 remade EXACTLY AS IS but for PC and with all the features that brings (FOV sliders and high FPS) would be amazing. But if bungie ever did anything with D1, which they won’t because they don’t care about the game or the fans at all, they’d destroy it. They’d find a way to make it 500$ and a worse experience than it was.
The original is my favorite ever strike. Twos the strike I got my Hawkmoon from. A gun I never removed in D1

Honestly, you should have used the Tarantella chestpiece on your Hunter. Take reduced Arc damage, and your Arcbolt and melee recharge faster passively

The defender on D1 will always be the best. It. Was super op if you know how to use it.
Hey @NovemberHotel is there a possible way you can do a video covering Blue weapons with random rolls? D2 watered down their Blues, many now sunset or removed entirely while D1 had some fairly unique Blue guns. There are players I see rocking a mix of Blue + Purp guns & gear that often get overlooked
D1 hand cannons are just that. They hit like a truck in pve

I like the acrobatic monk style for arc hunters in destiny 2, but I seriously do miss the arc blade theme.

Flayers was also the easiest to do solo but you had to be quick if you didn’t wipe all 3 quick you’d get destroyed by all the spawns
The wretched eye nightfall was the only nightfall that I just could not beat even with a competent team

Can always grab some Glass Needle for an exotic re-roll. That’s given me 98/99/100% on several exotics.

Weird how Invis was an arc thing back in the day before TK, then d2 declared it a void thing and arcstrider proceeded to be ass for a long time
Man, I miss the D1 Destinations and strikes…
I like how it feels genuinely earned to do nightfalls in D1 and is always comepletely possible but in D2 the only time u can solo its in difficultys with zero rewards or theres bugs and glitchs making parts a cake walk
Don't know if this is a popular opinion but what if Bungie gave us Bladedancer as a 3rd subclass option.
It embodies stealth and quick strikes more than the giant staff

I wish D2 would do something like this with strikes, this or the 6 person strikes or 12 person raids would be so cool.
I miss 12 man DSC raids
I liked 12 man raids, honestly. Sure it melted bosses but I feel like all Bungie has to do is adjust the health of bosses. Like two different raid playlists (much like FFXIV, you have Alliance Raids (24 players) and Normal Raids (8 players)).
@@chelsthegameruiner8669 I didn’t even care about melting the bosses. I feel like it would be nice if it was on rotation in the sense every few weeks the 12 man version would open up, and nothing would be different about the raid, it would just be easier.
I Miss the OG blade dancer, I love D2 but Arc strider is just so different to blade dancer it got completely iced
What console are you on? Maybe you can do a subscriber thing and do nightfalls and raids with your subs.

Well D1 had hard nightfalls and created more of a challenge. They didnt required champions or any unnecessary enemies. Plus the way they did rewards at the end compared to how it is in D2 where you arent given an actual reward and wasted time. If you arent rewarded and require you to do it all over again.

@@adjcsee4476 I don't know man, I do challenging content and still get blue armor in D1. I'm not sure disregarding RNG and saying one game handled loot better is the way to go about it when it's all random
D1 had better design in general
Well it seems like abilities withstanding,you are more constantly put out as much damage as you are taking it, which will always lead to that feeling of satisfying challenging but fair difficulty, compared to the alternative where you have to hide spamming abilities behind cover and chipping away at a lowly redbars HP because you're primary form of attack feels like harsh language in comparison to being one shotted by every other enemy in the game

I've been replaying Destiny 1 for a week and a half now. I have only seen one other player in the tower since I began. Is this a server issue?

For the lack of new nightfalls, strikes and crucible maps, I don't know why they don't just bring all these old ones forward.
also i couldnt play that strike cause of a pay wall but i can play other ones

D1 was so much better its unreal primaries actually dealing damage not just tickling weapon choices mattering and having options rather then a select few exotics actually so much different and not dropping every 2 seconds
Bring self rez to d2, but maybe have the warlock constantly burn to death for couple seconds. This will give him the chance to revive or make a quick kill before death again

The Tower is always packed still. Finding teammates in the heroic strike playlist isn’t too hard. Crucible matches can be hard to find at times. Weekends it isn’t too bad tho
D2 makes D1 look like roguelike in regards to comparing difficulty lol, been such a long time since snipers were relevant in D2 but here you genuinely need to use all you're kit and not just for dps
Yeah d1 is a blast. Requires all your focus and attention. And requires you to pick your weapons and subclass carefully

They should bring back Daybreak strikes which should be the Trials version of Nightfalls basically. Opens up every Weekend, isn’t as hard as a GM but still hard. Maybe some modifiers which are similar to GM but no wipe if all FT members die and no limited revives? It should also drop ornaments, exclusive loot and more.
Well the first problem I saw was that you started with hunter 👎, also void would have been a better choice for invis smoke with exotic arms to have two of them. I know it's for content but there is the cheese rock that you can hide on top near the last relic.
Why D1 nightfall so fun to do solo?
i only dont play this cause i switched to pc, and this is not on it
