I love how at the start he was just trying to read the music and lyrics because he couldn't quite recall the song. Then at about 2 minutes in you can tell he begins to remember. As he goes through the rest of the song he recalls how it was mean to be sang. And then using that inspiration he puts his own personal stamp on it. He clearly found a connection in his life that mirrored the lyrics and was like" I'm going to give this song the respect it deserves" and in true fashion joins Aaron Lewis as the only singer outside of Eddie Vedder to do this song right. This is a display of a true musician and artist folks.

As a devout PJ fan, I for one am always moved when someone covers them in a respectful manner. This is lovely and haunting, even it it's not Pearl Jam. And I think they'd be honored and Eddie would give him a positive review. I mean, it's hard to imagine him bashing someone covering their song in any case, but this is a nice cover. Why do people have to be so critical?
