  • The third episode of the series moves from the Western thought to Eastern and most specifically philosophy that prevailed in ancient China. We discuss Confucius in particular.

Assalamoalykum. I`m a student of Law in the University of Oslo (UiO) and have just started studying Examination of Philosophy (ExPhil). These lectures do really help me a lot to understand both pre- and post-Socrates thinking....(much more..). Getting knowledge of the connection and similarities between the Greek and the ancient Indian ways of thinking was quite new for me. It helps me also to learn/re-know/remind my own mother tongue (punjabi) which I`m, unfortunately getting poor and poor gradually. I`m really grateful to both Doctor Manzur Ejaz and Mr. Wajid Ali Syed for allowing me to get benefit of these online lectures and seminars. Thanks a lot. Rashed Nadeem. Oslo Norway.

Very interesting , I just wanted to ask a question about correlation between age and wisdom. However just a look at Pakistan and one fears that Confucius was completely wrong . If dr Manzur is a case study , Pakistani PM provides a completely opposite perspective 🙂
