so funny seeing people refer to sun wukong as goku. goku is based on sun wukong not the other way around. :D but sun wukong never had a magical cloud moving him around. instead sun wukong learn a mighty air dash technic in his younder years. not sure what the engl translation of "the journey west" (a collection of books/storys all about sun wukong) calls it but probably something like the "cloud leap", sun wukong pushes off from clouds and covers several 10,000km in a single jump that way, lazy animaters gave him the nimbus cloud so they did not have to animate the leaps. :D
