This game has great writing & story-telling, I wish more games were like it.
August 2019, 180 years later and this is still a fascinating story!
Daniel's VA needs to do Lovecraft Audio Books.

Even TDD itself draws inspiration from him. Doesn't mean people can't or won't enjoy it.

I listened to MFP voice lines for like 50 times legit lol. Writing in this game was simply poetic, and voice acting so expressive and stylistic

The Shadow hasn't attacked me for nearly a month in London. I'd better run to a dubious Baron and try to banish it. I'm fairly sure this won't go wrong or anything.
Some unknown force is killing and maiming everyone I've come in contact with. I'd better turn to literally the only person who knows what they're talking about so I don't die horribly.

The pure ironie is, that the shadow never tryed to kill him.before he worked On the orbs with Alexander.
So if Daniel has stayed in London, he might never been killed or attacked. He would reclaim the orb or force Daniel to put her back to Algeria
@@leonreidenbach7106nah the shadow would have killed Daniel sooner or later because he was an uninitiated in the Mithraic arts. It basically destroys everything in its path until it reaches the orb bearer but it' so slow about it whole weeks can pass before it does. The same happened with Agrippa as mentioned in a letter of his; the thing killed everything in its path to the orb, but left him alone because he did know how to somewhat handle it. (I how the comment is 2 years old but still wanted to answer)

There are multiple orbs. Herbert found another one, Shadow claimed him.
It's Lovecraftian. It makes the whole thing more mysterious.
