@@ksizzle1488 Actually it is not said in those words exactly but the same point is spoken of as such by The Apostle Paul at 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 & 39. However there if the direct act of sexual fidelity or Adultery enters the marriage, God does allow that exception to dissolve the marriage in a divorce with prospect to remarry someone else. Because contrary to what is being taught wrongly to these people, Adultery comes under the the original broad Greek word Matthew used there at Matthew 19:9 - to make Jesus' point - PORNEIA. And that word in was used both in the everyday language of Jesus & the Apostles day by people and more importantly in The Scriptures to refer to a wide range of sexual sins outside of the marriage bed like: Homosexuality, Adultery, Incest, Fornication, Pedophilia and Prostitution ; If the genitals were directly involved with another living being or even a dead person or creature. It all came under the meaning of PORNEIA.
@@oscarrivera693 That's the way it should be. It is facts but pastor Jennings himself would agree as well and explain that their are many under the congregation battling past sins.the key thing he would say is he preaches what is needed to preach to convert those individuals through God.

1 Timothy 15This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”-and I am the worst of them all. 16But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners.
Well here's the thing Adultery is to lay with a woman before she has married her husband Fornication is to lay with a woman married to her husband In a false divorce the woman commits adultery The man can have multiple wives but his adultery is in causing his ex wife's adultery
@@connerhuston2613 Actually it really shouldn't have to be a hard complex thing if one is divorced or even remarried because sexual infidelity entered the marriage. That is a Scriptural ground in the eyes of God to divorce if there's no reconciliation possible. Jesus made this clear twice as recorded by Matthew 5:31,32 & 19:9. The problem is that some ministers like this one ignore the fact Matthew original didn't use the English word Fornication; But instead the New Testament Greek word Porneia - and that word is used both in the Bible, and that language back then and even today - to refer to ALL sexual acts involving the genitals outside of marriage - of which Adultery is one of such sins. This is why updated translations, like the New King James Bible, will say something like: Sexual Unfaithfulness or Sexual Immorality etc. Because those expressions fit the true meaning of Porneia. Because that word meant more than just Fornication. And those two verses in Matthew were not directed at engaged couples - but married people as the whole context of Matthew 29:1-9 shows.

@@pantera7086 You are no longer his "living mate" as is wrongly taught by some ministers. Jesus' words at both Matthew 5:31,32 & 19:9 are NOT directed to engaged couples - but those who are married. The entire context of Scripture at Matthew 19:1-9 is a discussion or debate between Jesus and the Pharisees about Married people not the engaged - as is evidenced by the Scriptures they both referenced to each other: Deuteronomy 24:1-4 & Genesis 2:24. So when Jesus went on to say he (Jesus), unlike Moses who allowed the hard hearted Jews to divorce and remarry for any multiple reasons, but Jesus would not. Only ONE REASON of sexual infidelity outside of the Marriage or Adultery would now be allowed as Jesus pointed out. The original New Testament word that Matthew wrote in Greek, like all the other New Testament writers did, was Porneia and not originally our English word Fornication as rendered in older translations like King James - because their scholars 400+years ago didn't fully understand all of what Porneia covered - but today it is completely understood. This is why modern Bibles like the New King James say Sexual Immorality or something similar. Even though there can be specific words for certain sexual sins used in the Bible at times, Porneia covered ALL of them from: Fornication, Beastiality, Pedophilia, Incest, Homosexuality, Prostitution and Adultery etc. And there are examples of this word Porneia originally being used in Scripture about sexual sinful situations that clearly were beyond just Fornication ; But involved Incest, Adultery and Homosexuality & Lesbianism - 1Corinthians 5:1 & Jude 7 & Romans 1:26-29. Yes as Jesus pointed out to the Pharisees 'marriage from the beginning was never supposed to end in divorce and one remarries someone else' ; And Paul's words at both chapters 7 of Romans and 1Corinthians about 'a husband & wife being bound together for life until death comes for one, freeing the other to remarry' is what was supposed to be. However since the fall of man God has been tolerating divorce though he really hates it - as Malachi pointed out. And a time will come when He completely rectifies this crazy world to His Righteousness that marriage will never end at all as was intended. But the words of Jesus there twice in Matthew show us COMPLETELY his full position. For those that would follow him and God now. Unlike Moses' old law where the Jews could divorce and remarry for any reason they chose - Jesus narrowed it down to only Adultery (Porneia) is a ground to divorce. Or maybe as in some cases a mate who abandons the marriage and moves on as Paul pointed out. Also don't misunderstand the Scriptures at Mark 10:1-12, which are the exact same account of Jesus debating with the Pharisees on this matter mentioned in Matthew 19:1-9. An only difference is Mark concentrated on the 'don't divorce' aspect of Jesus position, As did Luke 16:18 also. However Jesus complete full position is clearly stated twice in Matthew 5:31,32 & 19:9. So that one understands Jesus to not be contradicting his own words, we must understand these accounts together - not separate to see the full picture of Jesus position. Matthew was the more detailed one on this matter........ It seems that obviously there was abandonment from him and sexual unfaithfulness outside the marriage to you before you also did the same later. Then at least 3 beautiful children were born as a result & each of you have moved on in different relationships. Again, neither he or you are still "bound" together as "living mates" as is WRONGLY taught by some ministers like this one. In God's eyes you are now former marriage mates because the marriage has been dissolved in God's eyes and is over once sexual relations happened apart from each other - and there's never been any reconciliation between you both clearly. Miss Lady PLEASE DO NOT believe this lunacy taught to y'all that you have to make up at this point and go back to each other, or y'all must abandon your new family circles. Because you really do not. That marriage is over and done with. You are now married to another man properly. But if you want you can still ask Yahweh/Jehovah God to forgive you in Jesus Sacred Holy name for any misteps you have previously made and move on in peace of mind. It is a LIE being taught to folks in your exact situation that you're on the road to hell or destruction at this point, because you're really not. You have not committed the "Unforgivable Sin" Jesus spoke of. You are now married to this new husband, PLEASE DO NOT break up this marriage - because it is a justified Scriptural new marriage. You are NOT a "hoe" or "whore" as this minister has previously on occasion stated about women in your situation - based out of those Uninspired Apocryphal books he reads from at times. They usually always contradict the other legitimately inspired 66 harmonious book of the Bible and that's mainly why they're uninspired and rejected mainly. Hope this has been helpful and brings you clear conscience and best wishes to you and your family in all things my dear.🤗🙏🙏🤗
@pantera7086 as long as ur husband is alive u're bound, only death can break marriage covenant, so if u have a partner or remarried, u must repent and give out ur partner/second husband and remain single and faithful to the lord. Don't listen or follow other ways they will lead u to destruction.

Self defence is authorized in the Bible: Exodus 22:2&3 shows that - and makes the point that if one can avoid it, because they can see clearer in daylight hours, they should try to if possible. And yes there were times Jehovah authorized the Israelites to be used as his instrument of destruction on other people who were wicked or a threat to Israel.
Question: A woman marries her High school sweetheart and all is well and is very happy. But a year later she finds out her husband is living a double life: he has been having a homosexual affair and when he is caught he confesses and decides to remain a homosexual. This woman is young, beautiful and was married to this man for just one year. Now my question is, what is she to do?
If the house doesn't chase her away let her remain with the husband as she prays for him .and if she's to separate with him then she has to remain single forever
@@Urbankungfu61 Very unfortunate situation indeed. However, if she cannot bring herself to reconcile with this kind of adulterer, or he wants to persist in this homosexual Adultery, while remaining married to her, she has the scriptural ground to divorce him and be free to marry someone else if she chooses to in the future. Many are taught wrongly that the words of Paul in Romans chapter 7 & ICorinthians chapter 7, which both emphasize that, 'a husband and wife are bound together for life & only free to remarry if death comes for one'. HOWEVER: The Bible shows there is only ONE EXCEPTION to this - if ones mate is directly sexually involved outside of the marriage. Jesus' words at both Matthew 5:31,32 & 19:9 make this clear by using the original Greek New Testament word called "Porneia". It is wrongly translated there in old English Bibles like King James as Fornication - but that's not the original word Matthew recorded in stating Jesus' position - it was Porneia. The Bible shows this word was used to describe various sexual sinful situations that were outside of just fornication, but also: Incest, Prostitution, Orgies, Adultery, Lesbianism and Homosexuality. Here are some examples: REVELATION 18:3&9/ 1CORINTHIANS 6:16/ 1CORINTHIANS 5: I/ ROMANS 1:26-29/ JUDE 7. Again you may note that older translations often used the word fornication in some of these places, which doesn't make sense, because homosexuality and lesbianism as mentioned in both Romans 1:26-29 and Jude 7 are not by definition fornication. And adultery & Incest being involved at 1Corinthians 5:1 is not by definition fornication. This is why most modern translations of the Bible like the updated New King James, will things like: sexual Immorality, sexual depravity or sexual unfaithfulness - because the Biblical word Porneia is understood much better now than years ago. It covers the sin of homosexuality too. So this one exception Jesus mentioned twice in Matthew, is the only exception to what Paul wrote at both Romans 7 & 1Corinthians 7. So this woman has the scriptural right to divorce the husband because of his adulterous homosexual life he wants to bring into the marriage - if she chooses to, and she can remarry - if she chooses to. Do not be misled as so many are by certain ministers that those verses in Matthew are aimed at engaged couples - that is completely false. They are talking about married people only.
NO SHE DOES NOT have to remain in such an Adulterous marriage involving the husbands wanting to practice this life style. It is still Adultery. And the New Testament word Matthew used to state Jesus' position on this was Porneia. This New Testament Greek word used in the Bible covers not just Fornication, but also: Homosexuality, Lesbianism, Incest, Prostitution, Adultery among other sexual sins as well - ROMANS 1:26-29; JUDE 7; 1 CORINTHIANS 5:1; LUKE 6:16. This was the original word used by Matthew, not the wrongly translated Fornication at both Matthew 5:31,32 & 19:9 - back when translators hadn't really studied enough on the Bibles use of the word and how broad it is in application to include A N Y AND A L L Sexual sins outside of marriage involving the genitals. This is why you will often see New King James Bibles and others, no longer using the word Fornication I those places at Matthew - because they now have studied it better. If somehow she can reconcile, with him repenting of it, she can forgive and remain married to him. BUT: On the other hand if she cannot reconcile herself to do so, or he wants to persist in this - Jesus says Sexually Infidelity in Adultery of Any Kind (Porneia) - is Scriptural Ground to divorce and re-marry if the innocent party chooses too. And she IS NOT a sinner guilty of Adultery for exercising this one exception Jesus pointed out. Those words by Jesus in Matthew are not directed to engaged to be married couples as also wrongly taught by some ministers - but instead to married husbands and wives. It is the only exception to what Paul wrote in both chapters 7 of Romans and 1 Corinthians....best wishes to her in this hard choice.
No she does not have to remain in such an Adulterous situation involving that kind of sex choice. The Greek word Porneia used by Matthew 5:31,32 and 19:9 covers A L L SEX SINS outside of marriage including this type - Romans 1:26-29; Jude 7. She has Scriptural ground to divorce & re-marry someone else - if she can't reconcile his unrepentant behavior. She is not a sinner to do so.
If a Christian woman is a man's 3rd wife and she married out of ignorance and now has the truth and knowledge and has made the decision to divorce him. Can she keep the last name? If her maiden name was given as a child by her mother's husband and she was his 2nd wife and his 1st wife still lived?
@@cariahjetton759 This is really sad how confused this preacher and others have got many of you on this matter of divorce and remarriage. Jesus' words at both Luke 16:18 & Mark 10:1-12, which do give the impression it is completely wrong to divorce, are only the abbreviated versions of his completely fully stated position - as Matthew 5:31,32 & Matthew 19:1-9 clearly show. Or else Jesus is contradicting his own words for us ; in one place saying you can divorce a mate for sexual infidelity and remarry another person, and then in another scripture saying no you can't at all. So that's not possible - he would not contradict or confuse his own position. Matthews version is the more detailed full statement by Jesus. The New Testament Greek word Matthew used in those places was not originally Fornication but PORNEIA - which the Bible shows, in harmony with its meaning, to refer to ANY KIND OF SEX outside of marriage. 1Corinthians 5:1 & Romans 1:26-29 & Jude 7. All of these Scriptures speak of sexual sins involving homosexuality, lesbianism, Incest and Adultery - and Porneia was the original word used to describe all of these in those places. So just as the secular historical documents from Jesus & the Apostles day shows this - MORE SIGNIFICANTLY the Bible does too. Now clearly your husband has had sexual relations with these two previous wives before you. So since Jesus stated that 'Sex outside of marriage is the only sole ground for divorce and remarriage', one way or the other he clearly had sex with the 2nd woman before you and, so even if the 1st marriage didn't end Scripturally because of Adultery - certainly it did by him having sex with the 2nd one. Now you enter the picture: And again if you knowingly married him after his divorcing the 2nd wife, for non- Adulterous reasons, yes you entered an Adulterous marriage that wasn't recognized by God as over - because no Adultery was involved before you married him. If there was adultery then you did nothing wrong. But now that you married him, and sex has, (I assume by now )occurred between you both by now and you have become "one flesh" as the Bible says, he is actually your husband now regardless ; If you feel a need to ask God by means of His Son to forgive you for any mistakes in the past concerning this, you can. But DO NOT be fooled into believing you must leave or divorce him now, because you are in fact his wife. There's really no need to change your new married name since you're the man's wife. But if you've divorced him already, keeping his last name for legal or personal reasons is a matter of conscience you'll have to decide on for yourself.
Jesus' position on this matter is fully expressed at both Matthew 5:31&32 and Matthew 19:9, whereas Mark 10:11&12 & Luke 16:18 are only abbreviated versions of his position that only concentrated on the 'don't divorce' aspect of his statement. But his fully complete statement was detailed by Matthew in those two Scriptures. Many of these people have been misled into believing that Jesus was referring to engaged or espoused couples, who in those days were by title only considered husband and wife. But that is completely false, Matthew 19:1-9 is about married people only, not those engaged or espoused - as Jesus and the Pharisees used Deuteronomy 24:1-4 and Genesis 2:24 to state their positions. Both of those Scriptures are about fully married people only. Plus these folks are unaware that Matthew did not originally use the English word Fornication there at all and it's wrongly translated as such there making no sense - since the discussion was about married people and by definition - married people can't commit Fornication - married folks who cheat are Adulterers. The fact is that Matthew used the Greek word Porneia and this word properly translated in most modern translations, like the New King James Bible, is usually rendered as Sexual Immorality or Sexual Unfaithfulness etc ; Because Porneia stands for Any and All sexual sin involving the genitals outside of marriage. The Bible shows examples of this involving sexual situations that were beyond Fornication - but involved: Lesbianism, Incest, Homosexuality and Adultery Romans 1:26-29/ Jude 7/ 1Corinthians 5:1. So if ones marriage mate is Sexually involved with a person of the opposite sex, or the same sex or even a beast - it is all covered by that New Testament Greek word Porneia. This is an exception to being "bound together for life" as Paul pointed out in 1Corinthians 7 and Romans 7.
@@laidback1.0.1.2 You are wrong again, and yes it's good you're still learning. The Gospel of Matthew twice made it clear that Sex apart from one's marriage partner is a ground for divorce - with the possibility of remarrying again. So while divorcing for any other reason, apart from perhaps abandonment, isn't recognized by God as justification for divorce and subsequent remarriage - Adultery is justified according to Matthew 19:9. And though it was true that at first when divorcing was allowed by Moses, women were not given the option to divorce the man; But by the time the lord Jesus Christ walked the earth over 1,000 years from Moses day, women were divorcing their husbands as well. This is why Jesus also gave stern council to women about divorcing their husbands as well - MARK 10:12.
@@GioReyesMia This is only about someone whose mate has actually died literally. As Paul between 1Corinthians chapter 7 and Romans chapter 7 both speak about the 'husband and wife being bound together for life and not leaving each other' - which is clearly a conscious thing to be done in stating together or leaving each other. There's nothing spiritual about that. Whereas a physical death is the complete polar opposite. This is about the mate physically dying.

This man be lying on God and Jesus. God had two wives according to Isaiah. He also got divorced as well. There is nowhere in the bible is divorce a sin in itself even though God hates it.
I understand his point. But my first husband was an unbeliever. And he nearly killed me. I divorced him after much prayer. I don't dont believe God validates every marriage anyway. I believe it depends on faith and knowledge. Neither one of my parents were Christians when they got married and it ended in divorce. Would God validate a marriage between two unbelievers? Would God validate a older man marrying a young girl? My dad was 27 and she was 15?
You have the right to separate. Once he moves on and commits adultery. Corinthians does talk about the unbelieving spouse. Read the Bible and get an understanding. Jennings is wrong and is manipulating the listeners.
You need to read the KJV - all these modern day interpretations switch wording. Show me in the Bible with KJV where it says it’s okay to move on due to adultery? Matthew 19:9 “And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.” - Only single people commit fornication - in Bible terms when engaged have title of husband / wife / espoused but if engage in sex considered fornication - but these other interpretations say “sexual immorality”. Matthew 1:18-19 “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.” 1 Corinthians 7:15 “But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace” never says divorce or separate from a nonbeliever. 1 Corinthians 7:14 actually says “For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband”. Separation is ok for a while but God expects us to work it out & come back together. Apostle Jennings got it completely right; continue watching because he touches on all these things

Listen to what Jesus himself said in Matt. 19:6-wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh, What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. So how does God join a man and a woman together? God does it thru a real Man of God, a Minister of God joins a man and woman in holy matrimony. That's how God joins them together. There's no other way to get legally married. All other ways of marriage is not approved by God. So how can you be legally married? Those type of marriages can get a divorce because they are not right with God. Come on back to bible Gino
Yes you most certainly DO have Scriptural ground to divorce him for sexual infidelity. And if you choose to re-marry someone else in the future - that is your Scriptural right to do so. That was the point in Jesus stating this sole one ground as he was speaking as the greater Moses. Matthew 19:1-9 is completely about married people not people who are betrothed or espoused (engaged) to be married. The word Fornication there is a wrong translation in that context, the original word used by Matthew was Porneia. And that word means ALL SEX OF ANY KIND outside of marriage. If your husband is involved sexually with a woman, man or beast - it's all covered by the word Porneia and unless you can reconcile - you most certainly do have the Scriptural right to divorce them. Matthew 5:31&32. Don't let these people fool you into thinking you don't - because they are completely misled and wrong.
Getting divorced a second time does not sound like a good idea, after repentance and forgiveness the sin is wiped clean. A truly repentant person would not divorce again. If there has been sexual immorality in the marriage divorce is allowed. Furthermore, it is not good for man to be alone and a marriage protects individuals from sexual sin.
Sorry Gino but you allow to have more than one wife cause if a woman or man commits adultery they supposed to be put to death but are you or the system following that law so that makes you a sinner

What about Matt 19 Jesus gave the exception? According to Jesus: Matt 19 The first biblical ground for divorce is "IMMORALITY". When Jesus was asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason at all?”. Jesus reiterated the idea of one man and one woman in a personal, purposeful, and permanent relationship. “For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”6 Then Jesus states clearly the exception, “And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, EXCEPT FOR IMMORALITY and marries another woman commits adultery 7

15This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”-and I am the worst of them all. 16But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners.
True, this can be a very hard complex thing. Especially if you have kids.
That’s where trusting in God and faith comes into play, we’ve been bought with a price
Well here's the thing
Adultery is to lay with a woman before she has married her husband
Fornication is to lay with a woman married to her husband
In a false divorce the woman commits adultery
The man can have multiple wives but his adultery is in causing his ex wife's adultery

Do we still remain there and die

No, you can leave but you can’t remarry.
In today's world we can divorce for any reason, but know this that your still married and can not take another husband
So do you know if I got married when I was 18 years old and since then I have been married and I’ve been married to my husband for 22 years are you telling me that since I have repented are you telling me that God is gonna send me to hell because I had two marriages or three marriages. The only unpardonable thing is if you blasting the holy Spirit, so I believe most of everything that comes out of your mouth, except I do not believe that God is going to send people to hell that have gotten a divorce
Unless ur a widow you can remarry but if the first wife/husband alive and you got remarried your committing adultery so yes you will go to hell because your sinning by that second marriage 3rd marriage you must obey and align scriptures with your life

So that one understands Jesus to not be contradicting his own words, we must understand these
accounts together - not separate to see the full picture of Jesus position.
Don't let this teaching condemn you. The scripture also says that If the unbeliever wants to depart. Let them go. BE FREE!
@pantera7086 as long as ur husband is alive u're bound, only death can break marriage covenant, so if u have a partner or remarried, u must repent and give out ur partner/second husband and remain single and faithful to the lord. Don't listen or follow other ways they will lead u to destruction.

Ok so first of all a woman who marries a divorced man has not sinned
@laidback1.0.1.2 Can you explain this please and thanks.
My question is if the second wife realizes she is living in sin and divorces, can she then marry?
Yes she got to repent n then do it right n find her own husband
Yes she can get married

@@LatyFoster What in the heck are you trying to say ?🤨🤔
What about Matthew 5 32?
Fornication ( Matthew 5:32
Adultery is for married couples.
Fornication is for engaged couples.
The fact is that Matthew used the Greek word Porneia and this word properly translated in most modern translations, like the New King James Bible, is usually rendered as Sexual Immorality or Sexual Unfaithfulness etc ; Because Porneia stands
for Any and All sexual sin involving the genitals outside of marriage.

You fleshy lover?? 😂
Divorce lovers!! 😂🤣
Roman’s says if the husband is dead , but can it mean spiritual death or physical death ?
No physical death
In today's world people divorce for any reason but biblically they are still married and the woman can't take another
@@laidback1.0.1.2 You are wrong again, and yes it's good you're still learning.
This is why Jesus also gave stern council to women about divorcing their
husbands as well - MARK 10:12.

You leaning on your own understanding - which is a sin
@@Philly2Haitiamen❤
Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.”
1 Corinthians 7:15 “But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart.
@@ssv267 I stopped watching Gino. His cruel mockery of sinners is disgusting. He calls sinners unbiblical names and goes as far as demonstrating gay mannerism. He took two chairs and went between them multiple times mocking young promiscuous girls. He's too filled with anger and foolishness to be lead by the Spirit.

Pastor jenning. What if the husband has infidelity. The wife is now able to divorce him. Correct. Because of infidelity in the marriage ❤
Cant remarry though
@RyanREAX if husband has infidelity. Your not able to remarry. Please show me in the word if God ty
Mrs Brown,liar!!!! 😂😂😂😂
Sorry Gino but you allow to have more than one wife cause if a woman or man commits adultery they supposed to be put to death but are you or the system following that law so that makes you a sinner

What about Matt 19 Jesus gave the exception? According to Jesus:
Matt 19
The first biblical ground for divorce is "IMMORALITY".
What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”6
Then Jesus states clearly the exception, “And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, EXCEPT FOR IMMORALITY and marries another woman commits adultery 7
