If you are wondering how Windsor’s downtown core really looks and feels like in summer of 2023 - this is it!
The downtown becomes a destination and the place to be seen for many that live and visit Windsor. Ouellette Avenue is a major commercial corridor in the city that connects people and motorists from highway 401 from the south all the way up to the city’s river front. Up until the mid-twentieth century, much of this area shown on this video originally was primarily residential. It wasn’t until the 1950s when there was a wave of real estate investment that transformed this area from residential to make way for new commercial retail and office buildings seen today. Come join me to see Ouellette Avenue at night, the riverfront, open businesses, meeting spots and public art.

Beautiful! You can see from one country to another. I walked that same Canadian riverwalk in 1996 and 2001. It was a unforgettable experience.
