"It smelled like poo-poo and pee-pee" That always makes me laugh. HELL the whole show makes me laugh. Whoever decided to have Tom and Jill badly lip-sync their own lines in "New San Francisco" is a comedy genius. Also having David randomly end the show with a classic vaudeville gag.
"You better get gay or I'll make you gay!" LOL, holy shit, this episode is great. The gay son skit has me rolling on the floor. This show never gets old to me, and I've been watching these same episodes for over a decade. Posehn in those shorts HA!
"He spent a hundred million dollars on a campaign to legalize tomatoes... Which I assume works because I had a tomato yesterday and I'm not in jail, am I?" This joke kills me every time!!
Oh, damn. I just realized that the "Arbeit ist Spiel" sign at the office's manditory Tofutti break (11:26) is a reference to the "Arbeit macht frei" on the gates of many Nazi concentration camps. I'm a little slow.
yeah it was over 20 years ago. It's also David Cross's pre-Tobias show, and Tom Kenny's pre-Spongebob show. And Sarah Silverman's pre-Sarah Silverman show. And Mary Lynn Rajskub's pre-Chloe (24) show.
13:25 I'm Canadian and I do slightly remember singing him Happy Birthday... or am i thinking about the other time we were hired to sing Happy Birthday for Nick Nolte?
We didn't get this in the UK in the 90's but when I got exposed to it a bit later I immediately thought these guys are very pythonesque. So free flowing and absurd
bob has come a long way from Tom goes to mayor ,Tim and Eric, then playing Saul. David was great on Arrested Development ,yet all I hear is nowadays is his brilliant stand up.
Like so much of Mr. Show, the skit seems just like a quirky, kooky send up of, in this case, tourist marketing, while in fact tapping into deep social critique (I'm not kidding), in this case the whole consumer-friendly clean-up of places like Times Square and Las Vegas that took place in the 90's. Pretty spot on.,
"Don't dis my homies." - Abraham Lincoln.
A tip: you can watch movies on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
@Tripp Bruce yup, I have been using Flixzone} for months myself :)
Aww look…the spam talks to each other. That’s adorable.
To this day, my brother and I say that.
can't believe i'd completely forgotten tom kenny's "you three back off - i've got homophobia!" line delivery
To this day I still say "Think, think...take a drink."
pcwkid76 I STILL say this so much my kid does it now too 😂
Me too XD
That always helps.
OMG the bruised knees on Rodrigo (8:20) HAHAHAHAH

Our buddy Tom hated this sketch. So great. ❤️
Salt that fucking snail.
"And then Lincoln said, 'Don't dis my homies.'"
Hilarious stuff
The Flayne sketch is one of, if not my favorite on the whole show. It just seems really improvised and abstract and hilarious
agree
The spotlight gag at the end was pretty clever!
I will always love the van hammersly bit to death
I learned so much growing up from watching the Van Hammersly tapes
IS THERE NO OTHER HUMAN ON THE PLANET BUT I?!

1:35 Andy Kindler. This show was not only legendary, it was a beacon to creative people all over!
"He spent a hundred million dollars on a campaign to legalize tomatoes... Which I assume works because I had a tomato yesterday and I'm not in jail, am I?"
This joke kills me every time!!
I don't say this often about anything, especially comedy but Mr. Show is genius comedy.
Only he could deliver that joke in such a perfect way
The way he says "Doesn't hurt the spiders" is so perfect
I love when Jay cries out, "I fucked up!"
I bet he says that now too..
Jay after being charged and arrested for being at the Capitol riot
The hell am I watching, and why can’t I stop!?
Batman: The Horse.
Beep Beep Boop Boop have some hot and sour soup

"When was the last time anybody was in New Mexico?" - funny you should ask...
Watching this right now on 1/8 of lemon tek'd shrooms. Brilliant!
8 years ago i was doing the same exact thing
It’s funny because San Fran is a corporate run city now, they predicted the future quite well
8:36 - Rodrigo (Brian Posehn) having scabbed knees is a hilarious detail!
I never got paid for singing Happy Birthday, on Greg's birthday.
John Ennis is so funny in the "You're Gay" sketch
That billiards sketch.
They really ran with the sanfran bit. Top 3 bits of the show forsure
10:54 Spongebob hating his office job
Don't dis my homies!
Just found out that these guys co-created the Tenacious D HBO series... Saul and Tobias.
@Trevor Wilson I got the box set years ago and it's brilliant :) equally weird humour and great music, I'd love to see some shows around this time!
Tankerbell (D-GA) for President!
Theresa Mulligan in alien getup = amazing.
damn straight
My fav moment is when Bob said "Its Bobbin Time" and Bobbed all over the place
Bam Bam, and that's why we have Nitrogen!
Tofutti doesn't taste like ice cream, but the vanilla tasted like frosting. Wish they still made it, it was surprisingly good for what it was

1:11 whoa it's Tom Kenny!
He's one of the major actors on this show
"All these Goats are Retarded!"
Back in 07 my dog kilo used to play with Dave's dog Ali in Tompkins les NYC

Saul Goodman really is omnipresent!
I don't know how much they paid Tom Kenny to do this episode, but it wasn't enough.
