The only word of Latvian I know is "ērglis" because that is the word that started it all five or six years ago when, idly following my UA-cam algorithm, I stumbled upon the Latvian Fund for Nature's livestreams of several eagle nests in the Latvian wilderness, among others Jūras ērglis (Haliaeetus albicilla) and Zivjērglis (Pandion haliaetus). Since then, me and my daughter have diligently followed many happy and not so happy nesting seasons of the Accipitridae family and also of the Black Stork (Ciconia nigra) and have formed quite an attachment to some of the protagonists. This documentary gives a fascinating peek behind the curtain of the work these wonderful nature protectionists have cut out for them. Well done, you all, and a thousand thanks for all that you're doing! 👏 👏 👏 👏
