Same ! Lol. Always watch this video to feel the nostalgia of feeling like I have my whole life ahead of me. Oh, how things change. Graduate between 2009-2012?
Fuckin' eh!! This came up on my "Facebook Memories" today from a few years back. Totally forgot all about it, haven't heard it in years, but as soon as I started listening to it, it all started coming back. Sooooo beautiful, so good. Thank you Facebook and thank you Freelance Whales. :)
For some reason, whenever I hear this (starting at 1:10), I can see hundreds of black and white penguins running in a breathing mob across icy, glistening sheets of ice in the Arctic somewhere. Running, shuffling, moving penguins. I don't know a lot of songs that give me the same visual as this one does!
I love this song it makes me happy, you all do such a beautiful job, its different and just very sweet. Thank you and I wish you much more success bless you.
I wouldn't have them change a thing....I still love this performance as much now as I did when I first saw-heard it years ago...yes, it was someone who had shared it on FB - so glad....
You're ability to play unique but appealing sounds is matchless. You create amazing instrumentals that simply translate to purely unique sounds. As a fan of yours since 2010, and still a huge fan of yours after 4 years of army servlice, keep it up! Do not let the opinions of others dictate how you play your music. It matches everyone's perspective that enjoys the small and simple, yet huge parts, of your music!
Well wadda ya know, young musicians who are actually very talented and sound great, there may be hope after all, definitely will catch them live at Mohegan Sun.I'm a 75 years old retired musician who has no tolerance for what passes for some music today so this is very refreshing;true talent.
James Parr lmfao 😂 true. It's very hillbilly with the type of instruments they chose but for w.e reason I love it & I'm Puerto Rican. It puts me in a trance & makes me feel relaxed. Lol
wrrd. i used to work for starbucks and this song definitely describes the mood of every store across the counrty. very nice theme. i just finished buying it off itunes. 99cents, u cant beat that. nice!
I would have never heard of Freelance Whales had Darren Criss not mentioned them in a interview.....but now I am super excited I know who they are wonderful band....those Criss brothers are so flipping talented.
This band is way cooler than I imagined. The vocals and the melody are impecable. Another band right to my obsession list! Thank you, Darren, thank you StarKid
I actually got here because of a T shirt reference in a John Sandford novel. One of the great things about music and literature is that when they are at their best, they feed each other, and we are all better for it. I won't say they are my new favorite band. They are interesting, and have a unique sound. They definitely wouldn't cause me to change the radio station. Thumbs up for original music!
if you're really a fan of a band, then tell everyone you think would be interested about their great music. then be proud if one day you hear them on mainstream radio.
This was the anthem of my junior year of high school. I’m still here for it.
Same ! Lol. Always watch this video to feel the nostalgia of feeling like I have my whole life ahead of me. Oh, how things change. Graduate between 2009-2012?

I was so obsessed with this album when it came out. There was nothing like it in the cultural landscape of the time.
"and when we quiet down the house chants on without us"
I don't know what it is about those lyrics I just LOVE them. I don't know why.
I KNOWWWWW whoever writes the lyrics for the band is an absolute genius in my opinion
This song is so relaxing. I always listen to it when I am in need of some calm.

It’s killing me that they don’t make music anymore
That's what I really don't like about finding small music channels. They're always amazing, but they last uploaded like a decade ago.
@@liamhenderson7367 one of those smile because it happened situations.
Yeah, I'm smiling because it happened and I still have the songs. I just wish I was there when it happened :(
