- During the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed I have filmed the Mercedes-AMG One in action on the Hill Climb. This is a Formula 1 car for the road with his 1.6-litre F1 V6 engine that produce 1,063 hp and goed from 0-124mph in under six seconds. The AMG One costs over £2 million and all 275 units have sold out! I hope you will enjoy this video

Normally I have absolutely no interest in the subject of hybrids and electric cars, but in this case I have to admit that the concept of the AMG One really caught my attention.
Packing the powertrain of an F1 car into such a fantastic car is actually impressive and shows what today's level of technical innovation makes possible.
I want to see this car in the endurance races around the world.
The AMG sounds much quieter than the actual 2016 Mercedes F1 cars even though it has the same engine. I wonder why, did they tune down the engine noise on purpose?
It's all because of EU noise and exhaust regulations
Big car manufacturers have to fit mandatory exhaust filter which is the cause of weak noise
While race cars don't need to fit any of those
I do feel like if you really really wanted to, you could find some high end exhaust company to do a careless exhaust for this and really make it scream… but who knows!
It’s running catalytic converters and resonators as well as a muffler. All of that makes the engine quiet. F1 cars are basically running straight pipes. I’m sure someone will straight pipe the AMG ONE eventually
