    By far the best video showing step-by-step how to do a fade. Great technical with perfect amount of narrative, to much and the viewer gets overwhelmed and lost! Thanks so much. You are awesome and very inspiring to us watching! 🙏

    Ricardo I also fade from top, down, and you have a great system. When you begin with the 4 guard is it open, middle and then closed and then you move to the 3 with the same? Do you go about a 1/4 inch down between guards all the way to the original fade line?

    • @kikado3

    Hey Ricardo! Love the videos brother. I'm a huge fan.
    Can ya make a small video on shear cutting. For example; which shears you use, the size of the shears, how to pull off your technique. You do it so fast from muscle memory, but I can't seem to get the technique down.

    Hey Ricardo,
    Do you usually cut each side of the clients head separately and then the back afterwards or is this just for the video?
    Also is the wahl super taper fully opened a 1 or a half?
    Thank you your videos help big time!!! :)

    • @kikado3
      @kikado3  9 років тому +1

      Michael Melly Yes i do it seperately all the time. Wahl super tapers are not a 1 maybe between a half and a 1 at best. Reall no clipper opens to an exact 1/8 inch. Actually no guards are exactly 1/8 inch either. Their usually less because of the fixed blade.

    Hi, I was wondering if I could ask you a couple of questions if that was ok? First off, is this a high fade or a low fade or a regular fade? Also what is the difference between a fade and an undercut? Finally what is the style the guy has got in this video right at the beginning in the car ....... CRAZY CORN MAZE WITH ENTIRE SHAYTARD FAMILY! DAY 219 as this is the style im interested in. Thanks a lot :)

    • @Jacob-ry3lu
      @Jacob-ry3lu 10 років тому +1

      This would be a mid skin fade. How high the fade is depends on where he starts the line, as you can see he started it pretty much in the middle of the head. Undercuts are different because the hair on the top of the head is usually left longer and overlaps the side of the head, where as a normal fade such as in this video, the hair on the sides and top is trimmed so that it doesn't overlap. The person in the video you linked has an undercut with about a #2 straight buzz on the sides (no fading) and probably about 5-6 inches of hair on top. You could do that haircut yourself if you wanted, it's very simple and he has no fading done in the video

    Just some quick advice coming from a barber/hairdresser. I see you didn't do it either, a lot of barbers seem to miss it. When making the hard part, there's a section you just need to take out when going in to do the hard part, I don't know why a lot of barbers miss it out, just putting it out there. Anyway decent job overall. Personally, I would have blended the ledge out a bit more but hey, who am I to criticise?

  • @padureancalin8096
    @padureancalin8096 7 років тому

    man the haircut is sweet, the only thing that I personally think you should do, is use less product(hair gel/pomade) when you finish with the styling. The dude's hair seemed to be over saturated with it.
    Cheers, keep up the good work!

    • @kikado3

      It is a part that is made with the trimmer. Hard is meaning it is not going anywhere and the hair will part where the line is made. A regular part is just made where it is seperated with the comb.
