The R models are radar guided so R27ER and R27R whilst the T models(R27T and R27ET) are IR guided. The ER differs from the R in the range department. It has much longer range and a super fast acceleration making it better then R77's in some scenarios
i really think gaijin should separate Fox 3 and Fox 1 slingers, so you can have a top tier Fox 1 with like F15A, Su33, Mirage 4000 etc and a Fox 3 top tier, it would make people suffer less, and for the plane that are just shitbox with fox 3, just put them on 12.3 Fox 3 so they can just compete with other shitbox and not state of the art last gen fighters neither bully 12.3 planes
