A lot of people voted against Trump in 2020 but aren't afraid of him anymore. The Dems have lost the plot. The entire reason Trump exists is that the political system has become unresponsive to the will of the people (do not ask why people think he is their savior, but that is the motive; this is why their rallying cry is "AMERICA FIRST"). Nothing says we respect and value the will of the people, like pushing a candidate on stage after some backroom deals. This has 2016 written all over it, and I am no fan of Trump, but it is starting to feel inevitable that he is going to get a second term.
