my interpretation of this song is that the singer lost a friend or confidant that was part of a band because that "friend" did something or just was obnoxious and arrogant so after the main singer left this person, the person cameback pretending to fix something but it seems that his intentious was to harm even if he was conscious of it or not but our protagonist knows his modus operandi and now defends thyself from that person.

I really like the lyrics in the chorus, especially how the "I wanted you to stay" twists around to mean the opposite with the addition of the next line, "as far away from me as you knew how". Also your tuning has really improved! I'm wondering if the scream effects were all done in the glottal effects parameter or is there some clever melding of an actual human voice for those parts? Either way it's amazing! I love your music.
Thank you for the kind words! ^^ The screams were fully with glottal effects (I think it was one of the Scream presets), I also lowered her Gender Factor by a lot to get those lower growls, as well as tweaking with Breathiness and Tension. Thank you again!
