My daughter is studying in Moldova for medicine. Wish to visit once. So i am eagerly watching the videos related to Moldova

This guy is literally my neighbor, and I'm from the states too. We've never met though. I just run into him every now and then in my apartment complex
I just visited Chisinau Moldova and the best 4 things were: beautiful girls, beautiful parks, beautiful orthodox cathedrals, low cost of living.
1,300 euros per month in rent is a little expensive for the quality of the apartment. There are places in the Midwest for the same price and better quality.
@@IQscan51 One room apartment costs around 200 euros per month.
@@noJobProgrammer The price seems to vary from person to person, so it is unclear to me what it is.
@@IQscan51 if you are a foreigner of course they will rise the price, the locals are smart)). There are internal web sites like 999md where you can find cheap apartments.
Ohk! Should I add Moldova to my trip to the Caucasus as well coming May?! I may have couple of days at max so was thinking of either Moldova or some country in the Balkans 🤔
Yeah one thing i noticed in Chisinau during a 30 minute walk i heard like 6 or 7 ambulance and all with the sirens on. It very much reminded me of new York

We had to cancel a trip to Ukraine with the recent hostilities and are watching and waiting. Our thoughts are with you and we trust you & your family will thrive in the new year!

WOW €1200 for an apartment in Chisinau is mega expensive. I think he got ripped off!
Prices are wild as of lately, but... long term rent for 1 bedroom apartment in city center is 500-600 EUR. A spacious 2-3 bedroom apartment could go for 800-1000 EUR easy.
I just returned from Chisinau Moldova a few weeks ago and i rented the nicest luxury air bnb in a new building right in the city center and it was available for long term rent at $800/mo which means an equivalent apartment would be much less, maybe around $600/mo. He got ripped off really bad if he’s paying $1200/mo for that apartment.
@@SuperheroArmorychannel 100% I looked at Moldovan real estate sites and you can get apartments 1 bed in the Center from €350 upwards!

Without ever been in there but watching the prices around and for that money there would get hell of a better looking apartments. So i think they got screwed with the rent price. Plus all the other cost that some places includes into the rent.

Moldova has some amazing wineries. I have visited Cricova, Milestii Mici, and Mimi Castle winery which was amazing. Definitely a must-visit. Old Orhei as well 🤗

Technically it’s at the bordel of center and botanica districts. It’s a 30 min walk to the center-center

yes. i miss international foods. some cities are catching up like warsaw and kyiv maybe 2nd tier cities but not sure about the rest ie. less than 1 million inhabitants.
Tell me about it! But, on the other hand, these restaurants open when people from other countries imigrate to Moldova and bring their cuisine with them. Simply put, there are not a lot of foreigners in Moldova.

Moldovan culture is extremely old and robust. Its like a big heavy rock that would not let itself easily be moved. Even Romanians are more easy going in their character. Moldovan families and societies are generally ruled by women. The country is in a weak spot only because politics. But in its essence moldovan families are build in the blood, temper, and vision of the female. On the other hand Moldovan males would always be ready to sacrifice their lives in order to protect their families. Moldovans genuinely have a structural, as well as, critical thinking -> They'll never get confused about their priorities. They don't need whats not theirs and they will find ways to thrive with pride and respect even in the harshest circumstances. They are, indeed, rational to the core. Russians never understood that moldovans are naturally creative and will never loose their rationality and positive approach towards life. Moldova will stand proud and tall long after many nations will transform or change/adopt other cultures. They are very similar to the poles.

Cheers, mate! Moldova can be boring or interesting depending on your touristic preferences! I think it’s a good destination for
🍷 Wine Travel (50+ wineries of all shapes and sizes)
🐐Rural tourism (stay at a farm, enjoy delicious traditional food, crafts like weaving pottery, village museums, etc)
🙏Orthodox Churches & monasteries (not so many of them left in the world, can exclude Russia for next 10 years)
🎖️Soviet tours & Brutalist architecture. Tourists especially like this part, including a visit to the self-proclaimed Transnistrua and the autonomous Gagauzia.

Because of the high number of Ukrainians the rent prices increased after 2022
Wow rent in Colombia is like 250 a month for an apartment. Europe is crazy. Moldova is supposed to be the cheapest country in Europe 😂Ya ok
