i was also wondering about that constant use of the noise. it gets rather annoying after a while, which is a shame because otherwise the set is close to perfection. the event looks amazing
The sounds effect seems to tie nicely with the lights and the brutalist nature of Katharsis and the crowd at Elementenstraat events as a whole though. With that being said, it doesn't have to be in every transition.
Don't get me wrong, I like the idea and I am a longtime supporter of Function, but using the same sample just feels a bit lazy, why not use 5-ish different white noise samples for the sake of variation?

Those signatures sounds are a trademark of his set. To be honest, I enjoy them thoroughly on the dancefloor.
Function does the best techno sets. Period. And those noises give consistency to the whole set.
