It is a really beautiful mix! I especially like, because it is NOT all the time blasting into your ears, like an Imperial Music would be too tempting to make, but nuanced with interesting changes.
@@BEANBOYOBEANITH I wish we could!! :D I hear that the original devs are working on a new game. It isn't EaW, but they might be able to at some point. :)
Interesting how simply slowing down the Imperial March makes such a difference. Instead of the normal song evoking scenes of Vader walking the bridge of the Executor or the power of the Imperial Fleet, the slowed version seems like the plodding, inevitable advance of armored vehicles and stormtroopers, shrugging off Rebel fire. Really cool.
There is something special you experience in a SW RPG game, in that moment when the GM reveals an image or lifts the fog of war, the players see that familiar wedge-shaped silhouette, and the first notes of the Imperial March begin to play.
You idiot! The empire is the new world order. Accepting the idea on screen will allow your subconscious mind to accept in reality when it comes, and its already here!!!
Star Wars Empire at War is a supply chain professional's dream. Transit time between planets is seconds. The longest lead time is the Death Star at only 5 minutes. No defective units.
The thing I imagine, listening this masterpiece over and over again - hundreds and thousands Imperial ships surfing all around the Galaxy instilling fear of the might of the glorious Imperial Navy. I see them hanging out above hundreds of planets and overshadow them with the greatness of the Empire. I see how Star Destroyers devastate every single ship with superior firepower, guided by thousands of capable and merciless Imperial Navy officers. Truly we all need a proper representation of Imperial Fleet in what Disney call cinematography. For the Empire!
Such a rich, beautiful and terrifying (at times) universe that is Star Wars. William's music is so intrinsically intertwined with this universe that you really can't have one without the other.
dude thank you there's been a lack of this specific thing all over youtube, any time you find imperial music it's the more upbeat or battle ones instead of the relaxing ones
As someone who runs a star wars TTRPG the mixes you have been making really help me get into the mood before a game and my players have said they like the music too. Keep up the great work!
This track and image combination really does hammer home the feeling that the Tarkin Doctrine was meant to illicit. Imagine being a Rebel sitting in your dingy old transport trying to bluff your way past Imperial Customs and THIS is what you see over one of the Empire's Core Worlds. How do you fight this? Where would you start?
And the pic is moments bevor Base Delta Zero strike. You wont see more than one executor above a planet safe for that strike OR to prevent the Eclipse to be captured by Zhan. Even Endor had only ONE present. They could have easily gotten at least 2 more into that battle PLUS 3x the ISD's yet where overconfident AF.
Your channel is a hidden gem. Me and my players have been enjoying your wonder mixes. As a GM finding mixes specific to situations enhances my players' immersion and my inspiration. Keep it up and know we will be listening in to your future tracks!
In my games, I have an Empire awareness rank system. At first, they simply send imperial army soldiers, then stormtroopers, etc. Using force powers scales up the rank dramatically. Was wondering if you could do inquisitor encounter music, and maybe a Darth Vader encounter?
what's the song that plays at 12:00? it's definitely the imperial march, but it seems like it was intentionally played slower, and I don't recall that arrangement from the films, shows, or games.
Today my party plans to ram a Hammerhead corvette into an interdictor cruiser to rescue a bunch of rebels from an imperial orbital prison. This will come in handy
Anything is better than 7/9 solo and R1. I was playing such too my players were between neutral and pro Empire. One even had lost his big brother on DS I.
The Imperial Navy is already unstoppable.... Don't believe Mickey's lies Let the Imperial Navy act efficiently and the rebel... pfff wiped in no time... Any movie battle would have turned into a crushing victory if just commanded by someone with a brain.

Woah! This mix exploded. Glad to see you're all enjoying it so much!
It exploded for good reason, thank you for such a good mix! It’s so suspenseful! Really helped keep my party of players on the edge of their seats!

You could listen to this music without any context and you would think of a massive galactic empire. The power and art of music.
There is something special you experience in a SW RPG game, in that moment when the GM reveals an image or lifts the fog of war, the players see that familiar wedge-shaped silhouette, and the first notes of the Imperial March begin to play.
