I remember Duel of Fates, first time I saw the fight... Holy shit, so amazing. Finally a proper Jedi vs Sith fight that shows more of what they should be able to do compared to the originals. And then the best one of them all, Liam Neeson... That got to me, don't blame me, I was only 9. Still gets to me though...
Man I remember watching it on DVD when it came out. If I remember correctly I was even eating a yellow Darth Maul lolipop with a gum in the middle when I watched that fight the first time. I was... 9?
Yeah, it’s like riding the line between dark, sweet, and not at all cheesy, it mantains its ultimate end, and isolation. It’s beautiful, isolated but menacing. Then end, Duel of fates, knowing the end.
Its cool how u can hear parts of the imperial march in "across the stars" its subtle but its there. Kinda like where Anakin is at in that point in the story. Vader shows briefly yet subtle under the good of Anakin throughout right now. I love that foreshadowing and conveying the story through music.
Just came here on Friday June 17 2022 to mention that Disney Star Wars has still not composed a track to surpass the prequel score. I will check back in 2 years
There’s been some good themes. A couple stand out from Clone Wars season 7, Rogue One, the Mandalorian. And of course the John Williams stuff for the early sequels and Kenobi (Rise of Skywalker felt kinda absent of original music). But yeah, prequels are top-notch and probably the best music done in Star Wars.
If you're talking strictly movies you should def throw hanz Zimmerman in there. If we include video games I'd say Koji Kondo is one of the modern greats
Its terrible that The Prequels wasnt nominated for the Oscar for best Music, all 3 SHOULD have been nominated & have Ep 1 & 3 won in that category. The Music from The Prequels are BETTER than the music from The Sequels and EVEN some of the music from the Original Trilogy. 💙
Love ❤️ me some Battle of the Heroes! 😍 💖 ❣️ All that pent up angst and fury and desperation and sorrow headed toward an inevitable predestined end! Beautifully expressed in breathless and breathtaking musical genius
As sad as it was to see Anakin fall to his most vile impulses and evil desires, I can't help but empathize when he finally slaughtered the CIS council, Nute Gunray in particular. That slimy bastard had been tormenting his wife for a nigh on two decades by the time Anakin got to bisect him.
Would love ❤️ to have experienced in this video ANAKIN'S THEME, complete and infused throughout with subtle indications of falling to the dark side throughout Anakin's journey from troubled little boy to confused and angry Padawan to desperate and enraged fallen Jedi Knight-- encapsulating a complete portrait of his odyssey through the prequels in one underrated piece of music
If theres one thing I wish in my lifetime, is that if George Lucas did the sequels instead of selling out for 7 billion, even though I know we'd all take that money. But maaaaan the sequels wouldve been crazy instead of a disney story
Honestly, you could just montage the prequels the whole way through using just these 4 tracks in 20 minutes, and it would be a better representation of what the prequels ought to be.
Love the droid invasion theme, absolutely underrated.

Agreed! The Droid Invasion Theme is amazing! These tracks are all amazing (on this list)!
sounds almost like oblivion
March at the Jedi Temple and Anakin's Betrayal are genuine masterpieces
Duel of Fates is insane, still remember hearing it the first time. But those other two, hell yes. Love them
Dual of Fates is super over-rated compared to these 2 in my honest opinion. Especially Anakin’s Betrayal!
I try to walk to it but I can't physically walk that slowly
So true about Anakin's Betrayal and the Temple March.

lol this comment was left an hour ago and i feel the same energy. Still one of the best star wars scene!
Prequels were awesome
Same❤
How does Duel Of The Fates slap so hard?
When 5:42 hits... Man.
Man I remember watching it on DVD when it came out. If I remember correctly I was even eating a yellow Darth Maul lolipop with a gum in the middle when I watched that fight the first time. I was... 9?
@@MantraHerbInchSin I wasn't even born but the prequels my favorite
These are, indeed, the most iconic tracks of the prequels.
Across the Stars is probably the most under-appreciated/under-recognized song in the whole saga.
It is very appreciated, but if what you are saying is that it is "number 1" ... Then yes, maybe it is number 1. 🙂
May I offer Finding Kamino?
Yeah, it’s like riding the line between dark, sweet, and not at all cheesy, it mantains its ultimate end, and isolation. It’s beautiful, isolated but menacing. Then end, Duel of fates, knowing the end.
I like how you can hear the marching of the army in March on the Jedi Temple.
I forgot how good this music was.

Yes exactly what Williams wanted to convey
March to the jedi temple is really underrated (and the context)
Just came here on Friday June 17 2022 to mention that Disney Star Wars has still not composed a track to surpass the prequel score. I will check back in 2 years
You can't outdo John Williams my man. The soundtracks in these movies single-handedly sell the emotion I'm supposed to be feeling during the scene
The only one worth mentioning is the soundtrack of "Rogue One" by Michael Giacchino - "Hope", "Imperial Suite" and Jyn Erso theme.
They haven't

A little early, but nothing still.
0:00 Droid Invasion
3:05 Duel at Fates
7:20 Across the Stars
12:52 March at the Jedi Temple
16:40 Anakin's Betrayal
20:42 Anakin vs. Obi-Wan
John Williams is one of the only great composers of this modern era
Agreed
There are many great composers in our modern time. But John Williams is definelty one of the best, if not *the* best.
Howard Shore, Hanz Zimmer??
I would have had hans zimmer and danny elfman
If you're talking strictly movies you should def throw hanz Zimmerman in there. If we include video games I'd say Koji Kondo is one of the modern greats
Prequel's soundtrack (especially Across the Stars) > Every other Star Wars soundtrack
I think Fallen order and survivor got really good music too
Its terrible that The Prequels wasnt nominated for the Oscar for best Music, all 3 SHOULD have been nominated & have Ep 1 & 3 won in that category. The Music from The Prequels are BETTER than the music from The Sequels and EVEN some of the music from the Original Trilogy. 💙
Pooweer!! Unliiiimiiiteeed musical pooweeeer!!!
Edit: You can hear the steps on the Jedi temple march theme. How cool is that?
Love ❤️ me some Battle of the Heroes! 😍 💖 ❣️

The prequels were not as bad as people made them out to be. They are actually good, god fuckn save us from the Rey trilogy.
The rey trilogy is just a long con by george lucas to elevate the prequels by comparison
Droid theme is severely underrated. I think the Phantom Menace has the best score of the 3 films.
Easily
As sad as it was to see Anakin fall to his most vile impulses and evil desires, I can't help but empathize when he finally slaughtered the CIS council, Nute Gunray in particular. That slimy bastard had been tormenting his wife for a nigh on two decades by the time Anakin got to bisect him.
Masterpiece
Me and my big sister used to drive around the wilderness and listen to star wars music.
Excellent 👍👍❤️💪
My personal favs are the
4. Droid invasion
3. Anakins betrayal
2. Duel of the fates
1. March at the jedi temple
my favorite music soundtrack is from revenge of the sith the battle of Heros
Would love ❤️ to have experienced in this video ANAKIN'S THEME, complete and infused throughout with subtle indications of falling to the dark side throughout Anakin's journey from troubled little boy to confused and angry Padawan to desperate and enraged fallen Jedi Knight-- encapsulating a complete portrait of his odyssey through the prequels in one underrated piece of music
9:50 Please select a fleet to command!
Awesome thanks!!
2:08 - that sound gets ya
Should've included Augie's Great Municipal Band for The Phantom Menace. Such a classic.
11:00
10.26 top
Disney Star Wars had still yet to produce a track that lives up to the prequels
This video needs more likes 👍
john williams at his peak
Honestly how dare the grown ass adults make me feel bad for liking a movie as a literal child.
Never i'll apologize Anakin for his terrible threason !!!!! In the name of the Republic, you are no more Jedi !!!!
prequels are definately better than the sequal
the sequels are pure garbage
If theres one thing I wish in my lifetime, is that if George Lucas did the sequels instead of selling out for 7 billion, even though I know we'd all take that money. But maaaaan the sequels wouldve been crazy instead of a disney story
Prequels had the best soundtracks, even better than OT, fight me
Hello there
Thanks
Across the stars 😌
Anakin Skywalker & Padme Amidala get married and Concieve Luke & Leia
6:08 *wistle wistle*
Honestly, you could just montage the prequels the whole way through using just these 4 tracks in 20 minutes, and it would be a better representation of what the prequels ought to be.
Pog
Sw From Lucas was magic, special ,something more.Disney destroy this saga.
Now imagine if the movies were actually good. The prequels would've been legendary.
