Thanks for this review. Eyeing the UX01G XGT multifunction tool and would love a review of this as no proper video is available. A comparison with Stihl KMA135R or/and Husqvarna 325iLk would be a fantastic video, but prob asking too much... Looks like the Mak is way more powerful at 1kW than all others including the 4 stroke EX2650!
Would love to see you review the DUA301 - the dedicated telescopic 14foot polesaw. Same telescopic system, perhaps head to head petrol Vs battery system.
It would have been easier to watch if you put it on a long table while your assembling. But otherwise I believe I could assemble one now that I watched you :)
Great video my friend. Thanks a lot. I do have a question though; how to transport this pole saw? it is very lengthy and it does not fit my pickup's trunk :( I'm forced to transport it by keeping it at an angle and i feel this might damage the saw
Nice video but I almost fell off the sofa when you said that the Makita is about $1,000 cheaper than the Stihl! Those things are crazy expensive! Truthfully though, with battery technology as good as it is, I don't understand why anyone would want a gas pole saw.
Well maybe because you cannot get a battery pole saw this long. And when you get a jam, I would far rather have the petrol version. And if you use these sort of things all day, batteries won't cut it, especially seeing you are not likely to be able to charge the batteries anywhere. Remember this is a real tool, not a home gamer tool.
Tools & Stuff you forgot to tell Pro1er that when his battery is in the garbage after a year or less your Makita gas pole saw will still run another several years. Battery tools are a joke. I own the Honda 4 stroke string trimmer and it is 15+ years old still running and starting like new. I also own Dolmar 4 stroke blowers (same as Makita but orange) each over 4 years old and still running like new.
It's rather embarrassing when people make public statements when they have no idea what they are talking about. I have power tool batteries that are more than 10 years old that I still use, and I never have to worry about them not starting because the carburetor needs to be rebuilt. Besides, batteries are consumables just like petro and oil.
Pro1er yah I was thinking the same when I read your comment. Nice of you to admit your shortcomings. I am sure your batteries are 10 years old and work great just like I am sure your tree hugging ass is full of shit. A good quality gas powered tool such as Honda\Stihl\Echo can go 20 years or more without anything more than gas and oil. How do I know you ask. Because my Honda trimmer is 17 years old and has seen 0 shop time and still starts first or second pull. I have yet to see any of my battery powered tool batteries last near that long. I should have said battery powered tools just are not there yet but I do agree they are getting closer.
I have the mm4 split shaft in my garden maintenance business ( UK ) and all my power tools are Makita blower ect, love them all 🤣👌
Great. Tried the 40V UX01G powerhead yet?
Can’t wait for the new 36 volt one
40V UX01G is 60% more powerful...

On the list if I get time. Currently doing the 3 cordless powerheads.

Hi how's the pole saw holding up and is there much flex in it when fully extended?
Great video my friend. Thanks a lot.

I am glad I saw this demonstration because I cannot say I would purchased this product. Thank you
I am looking for someone to demonstrate lightweight gardens tools for women. Example chain saws and trimmer
The screw to set the tension of the chain, should go into the next hole closer to the rotator.
A beer and sandals - what could go wrong?
Is the gear box chainsaw fit with EM34OOU Makita brush cutter?
No, this is a stand alone unit.
thnx man

That attachment will also work with Makitas 36volt battery powerhead so that's not an issue
Thanks. I won’t buy this.
