What happened to Saturn? I need to know how that snake is doing!
Check his Instagram, she looks great!
@@charmedlife1990 Thank u so much! I went over and saw. This makes me so happy! Go Saturn!
Saturn is well! If you look on his instagram he updates there much more frequently than here. Daniel said today that she eats well and is shedding regularly.
@@gabbyloveshorses17 Thanks so much! :)
Keep the videos up dude nice animals yu got me thinking to get myself a ball python @afroherpkeeper
I would have loved it if my kids & I could have been there to see your setup. You are truly an AMAZING educator. Ty for letting us see what you do.
Nice bro! Please continue educating people. Hoping for more episode from you.
They are all so beautiful!
I think the copperhead is my favourite species you had out. I love their pattern and colours. Nice video it's always nice to see your mug :P
Amazing show. Thanks for sharing Daniel ❤️
Educating the public about these wonderful animals is awesome! The more people that are educated the better the species will do in turn because people won't go out, round up innocent creatures and kill them for fun. Like if u know what I'm talking about.
About time Daniel, kept me waiting for 4 months!
I'm glad you spoke to the little kids just as you would the adults, that's how they learn!
The eastern hog nose was Gorgeous!!! I hope she heals well and soon. 💖
Have you ever had an animal not welcomed back after being removed from a tank with others?
Finally 🤣a video good to see you back. Hope you have a great day or night or whatever idk I live in England 😆.
I'm so happy you're back!! I clicked immediately
"They're all good snakes. It's just that some can kill you." Ha ha, loved that line.
HOORAY!!! You're BACK!!!
Great to see you here! :)
Please make more vlogs, your videos are good vibes, you really helped me with my depression. Thank you for your hard work you put in the videos.
Bro where tf you been !? Weve missed the afroherpkeeper
So happy to see a new vid. I live in Texas too, and it's so nice to see someone spreading the word about how harmless snakes and the like generally are!
Such an amazing educator and so knowledgeable. Hope you get even more popular and famous!!
I think he deserves more attention
Very nice reptile show! Love all your critters💙. All three of my grandkids love lizards. My 4 yr old grandson & I walk every Friday to find the lizards around my apt building. So much fun explaining why they’re out or not and what they do in the winter.
I was just thinking about your channel last week and wondering when you'd put out another video. Happy see you back! Great video!! 😊
These shows must be very gratifying to do. You are a n excellent teacher.
I'm glad you spoke naturally with the kids. Not just regarding your word choice, but your natural tone of voice. Not dumbed down and not condescending.
Besides, you never know when a child is obsessed with a subject and may know more than you. You get to keep your street cred. :D
i actually remember a student from stephen f austin showing me his animal collection when i was little and it actually inspired me to convince my dad to save the copper head that lived in our back yard and we even fostered a garden snake because of it! i just wanna thank you for helping out the texan wildlife man! love what youre doing!
You're back and with a 30min video! Wohoo!
Please update us on the rescue spider ball python!
Saturn is well!! Check his instagram. He updated today saying she is eating great and shedding regularly.
Food driven, something I completely relate to
That's the most beautiful garter snake.
I absolutely just love your channel, I mean love your channel, you have one of the biggest hearts in the entire world, and nothing, less than absolutely amazing things is going to come from it from it. The very first time I ever saw it I liked and subscribed right away. 🤟✌️🤟🤘👍👍👍👍👍
Are you biracial?, You remind me so much of myself when I was younger, feature-wise, and I'm exactly 50%Bk & 50%Wt. Not that it matters, but it's just something that I notice from being biracial myself, at least I think I did LoL.
Great educational info you rock
Welcome back I missed your videos peace and much love
Im so happy that ur back!!!! Hope that you are well and so are your critters :)
You did a great job!! I grew up scared of snakes because I almost got bit by a rattlesnake and my neighbor ended up seeing it right when it went to strike and grab me and slung me away. I was about 7 or 8 also my uncle got bit by one and had lots of problems with his leg from there on. I’m still scared to death of venomous snakes but I understand them more now that I have snakes of my own. I have 2 African egg eating snake and 2 BP and one sand Boa. I thought I would never own a snake but in my 40s after watching UA-camrs I wanted an African egg eating snake to get over my fears since they don’t have teeth lol and they are one of my favorite snakes. So teaching people really does help people get over their fears!! Keep up the good work!!
I always enjoy your uploads! Wonderful education you’re providing to the public.
An amazing job! 😍🥰🥰☺️☺️
Glad to see you mate videos again 👍
Nice video! Glad to see your uploading again! I hope to also see another Saturn update! I hope he’s ok! Have a wonderful day!
Saturn is well!! Check his instagram. He updated today saying she is eating great and shedding regularly.
Ella Russo
Thank you for the info have a great day!
Awesome location for the show. Well organized and laid out. Awesome.
Dude, you are an absolute treasure on this planet! 🌎💕
Welcome back!!!!
I’m really glad I subbed to your channel. Your reptiles are beautiful and I love the respect you have for them. I’m sure you know of the number of venomous snakes we have in Australia. My favourite for sheer beauty is the red-bellied black snake ( the yellow-bellied is also very attractive). I’m glad you conduct education on the animals as well 👍🏻
I love everything about this! & your knowledge.
Why would you bring a snake in shed to a reptile show and handle it?
You can handle a snake during shed
Good job man... I love teaching people about snakes because they are so feared but harmless....most of them anyways
I’m also from Texas so ya was cool to see some local babies here.
Really nice show!!!
Finally!! Been waiting so long for a new vid woohoo
Hey bud, hope you're doin alright and safe from the flooding going on in tx right now!!
BLESS U
Damn Dan I love you man!
UA-cam is putting in work 3rd vid i watched, love the information especially on your countries native wild life.
Spitting game on those grannies
I really enjoy your videos!
Finally 😳
Welcome back
Plz do a room tour I saw a little bit of it and it looks so cool!
The Texas alligator lizard is super cute !
26:33 a random li dicky-looking dude appears from the wild
Mort sticking her lil head up in surprise was so cute ;_;
So great to see you back!
It’s been a while, it’s so nice to see one of your videos again. It was great as usual and I hope there are more to come soon..thank-you and say hi to all the pets for me.
Uts so good to see you back making videos i missed you so much afro
Hey Daniel when can you do your next reptile room tour you have a lot of new reptiles and what about the new sea snakes?
Welcome Back! Good to see you again.
You backkkk
Yay
Great video and thanks for the work you do. Regarding the Eastern Hog Nose Snake, if I saw that one, I would have thought is was venomous, because it looks dangerous. I am happy that the people called you to remove the snake. I too would prefer to have someone remove a snake or let it leave on it's own, rather than kill it, as many do. I don't live out in the country, so I don't run into them, which is just fine with me.
My favorite is your snapping turtle
A fine young man.
Since the venomous snakes are native to America when you transport them you don't have to take as much precaution on the tubs you move them in...as in tubs that snapped closed and locks on the transport tubs??
Dan I love you!
Loved the show, your great with the kids!
You should give a room tour of all your pet
Good luck
I've always wanted any reptile as my pet but here in india there are no reptiles as pets
Haven't seen a upload in awhile so this is cool, can we get a tour of all of the animals soon as an update?
you're back!
So happy to see a video by you again!
Awesome little educational show! Will you be at either of the upcoming reptile shows here at the end of the month? Repticon or the Texas reptile expo?
Love an update on the sea snakes!
Just curious how much do you charge for an educational class with your reptiles
Finally
Great to see another video!!! Keep it up!
frogs frogs frogs frogs frogs
Glad you’re back
How is your eastern hognose eating for you? Do her injuries make effect her eating?
Where did you get your tiger salamander from?
What’s that zoo med thing your turtles are in ?
Yuuhuu, glad to see you again 😀
Dude love the amount of info I am learning salamanders are my favorite
You're back!!!!
what liquid is that to preserve the snake ?
Trans r my most fav snek of all time. They can have the MOST BEAUTIFUL colors & most especially patterns. Not many snakes have 2 distinctly different pattern sets on 1 body naturally n the wild like this rat.
How’s Saturn?
Saturn is well!! Check his instagram. He updated today saying she is eating great and shedding regularly.
How is your quality so good on an iPhone 7?
Kids probably had no idea what you were saying😂😂😂
Where can I find this snake hook?
He says that the rattle leads to needless killing of the copperheads, but in my area of the south if you see a copperhead you chop their head off. Everyone is scared of the copperheads, especially near wetlands and the coast. I dont support this but that's seems to be the local practice, if you dont live in the suburbs.
McKenna Downs yeah same where I am from in Northern Arkansas. If anything the fear of copperheads and water moccasins causes people to kill harmless snakes like rat snakes. It makes me sad
@@gameoftanks6503 Yeah my area had alot of woods the my cat in particular has a field day with the snakes and the frogs.☹
What type of soil do you use for your salamanders.
maybe dirt
Animal lovers 123 salamander soil
Coconut fiber, probably. It's pretty great stuff and keeps moisture really well
Tortoise Tarzan Thank you
I would like to know how Saturn is doing as well. I'm also hoping someone on here can answer a question for me. My rosy boa (about a year old) just ate a live dworf newborn hamster. She is still hungry and all I have left is a ft pinky. Is it ok to mix live and ft in one feeding? Or will the tempature variation in her stomach mess with digestion? Thanks if anyone knows! ;)
As long as the pinky is completely thawed out and warm, but not hot on its insides (that is why you never thaw pinkys in the microwave, only in warm water) as long as you make sure that there are no cold spots in the pinky, it will be fine. :)
Or if you're too concerned about over feeding due to regergitation or size issues, you can always wait for her next feeding which you could do in 4-7 days, depending on the snake - prey size ratio. :) Sounds like her feeding response is good which is a great thing!
But always remember that a slight under.feeding is always better than over feeding because of health risks to the snake. Plus snakes can go a long time without eating and be okay. :)
Hope that helped!
@@vickyvkusnyatina6126 Thank you so much Vick!!!!! I really appreciate you taking the time to respond and explain that. You made me feel better. You're right, she actually finally calmed down and curled up in her hide and is sleeping now, so I decided to just wait until next feeding and agree that a smaller meal is better than too much. She is a great little snake, I am really enjoying her! Thanks again and God bless you! 😁
@@noahakanoeytheballpython4473 She sounds like an awesome snake and I'm glad that she has such a wonderful owner such as yourself!!! :) You're welcome!
@@vickyvkusnyatina6126 Thanks so much! I really appreciate that. I love her so much!
Love tiger salamanders I had two unfortunately one of them died the second day I had it from being malnurished . I believe I have an eastern tiger salamander
