There's nothing like being a kid in the pre-internet days who's been anticipating a movie like this and suddenly one morning out of the blue you come across the ad on TV for the first time in the wild and it looks as amazing as you EVER imagined it. It was probably the most exciting thing I'd ever seen in my entire life LOL
Ah God, this brings back memories. I was LIVING for November 22nd when I was 9 years old. One of the few movies that absolutely lived up to expectations, no notes.
The lead up to the crash sequence music from Star Trek Generations, used in many of these ads here, deserved to become a trailer mainstay like "Bishop's Countdown" from Aliens was. Though it's probably for the best, I'd have hated to have that music become over-used and familiar.
