Thank you. I’ve had a crash course in what makes a great drip coffee. This machine seems to deliver everything necessary while avoiding complex settings. I’m in UK and Melita have this reduced for a short time today. I miss going to my cafes in Melbourne. Unbelievable choice
Ah nice. It really is a great machine... 3 months of being used multiple times a day at the cafe & it's still going strong. 👌
Yes, definitely some great options in melb. Code black & disciple in Brunswick are my favourites.
Finally someone who also loves the Epour! this is far supirior over the Moccamaster in terms of distribution and functions 8bloom)! And its Cheap!
Absolutely! I'm assuming it won't last along as my classic, but for a better coffee at a lower price, I can not complain.
My right ear loved this
😅 Thanks for the subtle feedback
Only had the left earphone in. I got very confused
@@jogs16 so sorry. The Rode microphones have really let me down.
@@mitchdoescoffee You have to merge the channels. I think you hold both buttons on the receiver or just google it for the model you have.
I must be going crazy. Thought I’d added another comment but seems not. I bought the Epour and the coffee is on another level but despite reading booklet I’m having some issues. Press brew and it flashes fast with pre brew button also lighting up. I believe another quick press of brew button begins the process but all it does is turn machine off. I was showing my carer how to operate but made a fool of myself. If you have tips I’d be grateful. While my Melita Look Therm did a super job, the Epour seems to make magic. Thanks and regards from London.
That sounds a bit strange. Are you able to send a video to my email? mitchdoescoffee@gmail.com
Mitch your reply is appreciated. One of my carers has it ok, unfortunately the other is a bit thick. Again I’m enjoying the coffee so much. Thank you for the email address. Eric in London
Thats funny I also did replace a Moccamaster with it. But regarding your kettle vs. Epour comparaison I thought price-wise its the other way around. 😅
Ah yes, depending on how you're using it... as I have a labour element to mine in the cafe, I end up saving money & getting a more consistent coffee no matter who is working.
@@mitchdoescoffee Makes sense!
Thank you, good to see it in action. Love this and the Moccamaster. Would you have any recommendations for a decent brewer for two people? With a can that is
This Melitta is a great option, as it has the ability to brew as little as 1 cup 😏
Good video mate! The only suggestion I have is to try and match your music volume to your other audio. The music comes across pretty loud. Otherwise, thank you for sewing off that brewer. 👍
Thanks for the heads up 🙏 I appreciate the feedback.
Looks realy nice
🙏
I’m thinking about buying this, over a Moccamaster. Also because of a good deal I can get. Do you still recommend it after longer time of using it? And also, how does it hold up quality-wise? Anything broken on it/not working? Kindly 🙏🏼
I would absolutely recommend this brewer. I was using it multiple times a day in the cafe & did not have 1 issue.
@@mitchdoescoffee cool! Thanks! But how is the noice!? I find it hard to judge from videos. How noisy is the rotating head, if it’s possible to describe!?
@@kasparjensen8780 it's not too loud at all. The boiling water would be louder than the rotating mechanism.
@@mitchdoescoffee 👌🏼 Cool! I think I will try it out. The distribution of the hot water seems REALLY nice! And it also seems to do a great job with small amounts of cups, since I will mostly use if for 2-4 cups. I have a feeling Moccamaster struggles more with small amounts unless you buy the more expensive version that can make the water flow slower (if I understand correctly).
Yea it's perfect for all cup sizes... the new Moccamaster can do half batches reasonably well, but still not as versatile as the Melitta.
Hello, thank you for the review.
How much coffee for 2 cups?
You're welcome.
I would start with 30 grams and adjust to your taste (15g per cup)
Can you put a different dripper on it?
I haven't tried it yet, I will test and get back to you
many thanks @@mitchdoescoffee
I want to buy this amazing machine in the USA. BUT I can't seem to find this. Could you point me in the right direction?
Hmmm... I've had a bit of a hunt around. And the only place I could find it was through DiPacci USA.

what is the point of the pre brew button? i see that it can only bloom if you remove the pourer
That feature is what I use during the bloom phase... once the water begins to pour again, I insert the server and let it flow through.
nice
👏
Moccamaster or melitta ?
I would absolutely choose the Melitta if you are after the best possible coffee... abut I doubt it will last as long as the Moccamaster.
