Very interesting video of Bob Hope's 3 homes in Palm Springs. One memory I would like to share with you about Bob Hope happened back in the early to mid 1990s. I was coming to a business conference in Palm Springs via the Palm Springs Airport. Well, I got off the commercial airliner and was just leaving my gate area to pickup my luggage. Guess who was just walking around the small airport with one of his assistants to say hello to people, you guest it Bob Hope. I was so surprised to see him, I was speechless but I gave him a big smile and a hello. He looked in excellent shape when I saw him at that time. Thanks again for the video, it brings back a lot of good memories.
Thanks for the the reply "The Graveyard Guy". By the way, I was thinking about which year was it when I saw Bob Hope at the Palm Springs airport, I believe it was 1991 or 1992. Also, you may want to add a link to your videos on Bob Hope's homes of his final resting place. There is a youtube video that gives a very good walk through video of his family's cemetery garden resting place at a nearby Catholic cemetery. Thanks again for remembering Bob Hope who did so much for his country, USA. RIP Bob Hope & family.
The hub and I did a celebrity tour last summer in Palm Springs and the guide told us that his wife got such a charge out of the tour buses coming by their home that she would wait for them to come by and then Bob would come out and sometimes get on the bus! he also took photos with fans and signed autographs. He also said that is the house they spent most of time in and raised their children there too. I highly recommend the tour.

There is a 4th Bob Hope Home in Palm Springs on the Golf Course just down from house 3 (1979). Hope had his production company's palm springs office in it. It's a 2 story colonial.
The Hopes lived up at Southridge once it was completed. El Alameda was used for guests (particularly over the holidays) when Southridge was filled to capacity. (I was a friend of Dolores’s ... Phyllis Diller taught me to play gin rummy one rainy day at Southridge.)
