Thanks for reviewing these pods, I am going to order some more, I find the taste is on a par with Nespresso and I can put them in my food waste bin. I am getting some good deals emailed to me at the moment , you may find that they may send you some as well. I know they don’t list the flavours but as long as it tastes good I am more than happy. Just tried the Cortado as a latte and they really do stand out in milk don’t they. Much more than the Ethiopia pods. I had 2 pods in a latte again and was a real kick of robusta coffee in there 👍🏼 Think the website said they are the highest caffeine content of all their pods too.
Hey A2B, I've been enjoying your videos as I was researching what to buy for my first nespresso pod machine. I think this review is a little lacking though if you don't mind some constructive feedback. You only tried the Ethiopian one? Good that you tried it as an espreso then a latte, but what about the other 3 or 4 flavours you purchased? How do you feel after two weeks (since the video went up) about them? Do the compostable pods hold up? Have you sacked them off or are you continuing to use them etc? Bottom line, do you recommend them? These tick a few boxes for me on paper but after watching the review I'm non the wiser about if they would be the right pods for me. Hope that you don't take offense to my comment. Please keep the pod reviews coming, as a newbie to the scene there's a bewildering array of pods to choice from and I'm interested in what you have to say.
Hi mate 👋 No offence taken honestly. You raise some good questions. The plan was to try other pods in the range if enough people showed interest to see those reviews. Is there a particular Roar Gill pod you’re interested in seeing a review of? Since filming I’ve tried the Cortado pods and the Bold pods and both were good quality in their own way… but very different. The Cortado was very strong but as soon as I tasted it I knew it had Robusta in, which isn’t bad and still tasted good but I preferred the Bold pods myself as they were more Arabica based. Of course there’s more to say on them than that 😅 From what I’ve tried so far I’d have no quibbles saying give them a go if you can get the 80 pods for £15 deal I got. My only worry with any compatible pod is whether they’ll damage the machine if I use them long term, so that would have to be at your own risk I’m afraid. Taste wise though, from the pods I tried, I think they’re worth giving a shot. As for the compostable pods element, they don’t grow mold as quickly as the paper ones do, but I haven’t sat and watched them degrade over months either, so difficult to say how well they break down. Hope some of this helps you 🙂
Compatible pods are a hit and miss. I don’t like how they taste most of the time.
It is noticeable how good a lot of Nespresso’s own pods taste when you go back after drinking compatibles for a while. There are some exceptions though 🙂👍🏼

Yeah I seem to remember you being a fan of the L’Or pods 🤔 Think I need to explore a few more compatibles ☕️😁 I liked the Illy pods (especially the extra bold roast with milk) and a few others too but think there’s a lot more out there than I’ve had so far.
The problem in this house too is that I buy some supermarket pods to review and they’re gone before I get a chance to 😅 I need to start hiding them 😂
