Big truck accident on Dutch highway A28 Wezep

An accident took place Friday morning near exit 17 on the A28 motorway. This collision caused the lorry combination to veer through the guardrail and come to a halt on the embankment between the motorway and the exit to Wezep. Fire station Elburg along with the other emergency services were alerted around 08:15 hrs, on arrival the driver was already out of the cabin and walked independently to the ambulance where he was checked by the nurse and taken to hospital for check-up.
The slip road was closed during the assistance and salvage operation, salvage company Stouwdam from Oldebroek salvaged the combination and removed it with their modern equipment, Van der Kolk Zwolle cleaned the road surface, around 12:00 the work was completed. At a later date, the guide rail will be repaired and the contaminated verge excavated, for this the exit and lane two of the A28 't Harde-Zwolle will be temporarily closed.

Die kraan was een gevalletje beter te groot dan te klein? Als je het kanaal van Ron Pratt ziet kan het ook wel met wat minder megakraan af. Wel interessant om te zien hoe ze het in NL oplappen.
