Thats soooo awesome. How to do You move and scale down things at the same time? (0:12) also, coul You share what resolution level do You normally use to have such smooth surface? Anyway, thanks for insinghts in your process!
I use the move tool and scale with the right thumbstick while moving. Theres no specific answer for resolution but I keep it high enough to have crisp detail and low enough that it doesnt slow down my machine.
How do you get such clean renders from Medium. My geometry is always jagged at the edges. Did you export it for the finals render? If so with what settings? Great video and model. I enjoyed it a lot.
he's working at a considerably high resolution in medium... see the bounding box size at 9:50, for example... it's almost touching the model... you don't need that for every layer, of course, but it will give you good results... also, exporting at 10% will be ok for most meshes... he rendered this outside medium, so he could have touched some parts of the model too.
It took him .. 1 HOUR, Mech, how much time do you think it would've taken you to do it outside of VR ? Maybe I'm wrong and it wouldn't have been so much longer, I wish to know how much speed artist gain by using a 3d cursor with VR than a 2d one on traditional flatscreen app in general
Its way faster in VR since you dont have to rotate the camera for each operation. Id say it would take me 3-4 times longer in a traditional 3d sofware.
literally 20 seconds in i went ' ah i fellow evangelion enjoyer. ' looks amazing
You have been a huge inspiration for me in starting to learn medium, glad to know you are still active!
your videos are gold. thx for sharing the process. learn a ton each time.
Absolutely love this one! Makes me want to get back to sculpting machines again ;)
YEah ! I need to get back to vr sculpting practice !!!!!
I feel like there's gotta be alot more vr sculptors out here...
Good stuff

Hi Mech, what software do you use to finish up on your models? Also your skills with medium is next level :O
Thanks man! I do materials and lighting in Keyshot.
What's the program?
In the last 3 seconds is this real or this is the final model?
Cool! where are those greebles from? awesome result!
Thanks! I made most of them.
@@MechNuggets what program do u use to make the greebles? just medium or 3d coat or zbrush or blender...??
@@IronMan-yg4qw It doesnt really matter what you use but I used MoI3D
Nice. How long did it take to model this in Medium?

the tool also makes easier the modeling I see
@@MechNuggets Hey do you have any videos that could help out a newcomer to Vr art and medium?
@@Scarlov87 It does, though you gotta spend some time learning it, and use the "stamp" effectively
