EXACTLY! Tech is right where they need to be under year 1 of a new coach. Tech has a solid 6-7 guys however, they aren’t big. McCasland got to the recruiting game late and built something that can make the tournament. Rebuilt an entire locker room culture that was fractured and a former HC that went Old Testament biblical with his sister in law.
I’m just happy that things are looking up. Making the tournament is amazing for this year. If they can get matched up vs teams that don’t play with length they have a shot at the round of 32 or sweet 16. Just need everyone to be healthy and to win the games they should and steal a few they shouldn’t.
It’s Sunday and they just beat UCF in LBK. 8 games left and outside of at Stillwater none of these games can be considered a given W.
Feel free to tell the Pink Raiders to go be triggered Karens on another pod.

The Big XII should not and hopefully won't allow coaches to decide which officials work their games. If an official has a proven bias over a few games (in other words, a statistically relevant sample) against a specific team, that official should be kicked out of the referees consortium that the Big XII uses. But letting coaches choose who refs their games will only lead to abuse of that power, handpicking guys that call a game the way the coach wants their team to play. No thanks.

That's a fair point and I see the pitfalls in them having too much of a say.

"Not that egregious?" OSU's Garrison just blatantly shoves Jamal Shead in the back out of the way then scores an easy bucket. No call. Same as at KU where a player undercut Ja'Vier Francis, causing him to take a fall which knocked him out of the game. Both of these should have been flagrants. So many ticky-tack fouls, and yet just shove a player out of the way or injure them out of the ballgame... no call whatsoever. Not even a review. Sampson had had enough. Plus it was a solidarity protest for his friend, Scott Drew, and he wanted to get some serious TV exposure for the "Eracism" t-shirt. Mission accomplished on all counts.

Sooners needed the BYU win badly. Pokes on Saturday gives OU a decent shot to go 6-5 and remain relevant in the conference race

Back channels don’t matter. Bad officiating is a given in all sports. It never changes. What does that tell you?

@@davidvinson4613 Your point is that the Big XII conference leadership likes when their fans are pissed about the quality of the referees? And why do you think leadership wants it that way? What do they gain from having people unhappy with their product? I think you are wrong.
