One day they were jamming hard, all of a sudden a mortar round hits the canteen, we're talking multiple dead already, rounds start flying in from the bushes, whipping the leaves like a Dominatrix on a Tory politician. I hit the deck, but as I look up I see Reggie and 'Cool guy' still playing, trying to drown out the noise, I mean can you believe that shit? Vietcong overran the camp and we had to pull back, I heard they did some unspeakable things to kid, hate to think what he looks like now. You're gift brings yourself and other's joy, don't go getting captured.
