They are made of the same PVC material as the side curtains of HGVs. The panniers are not light in weight, but they are definitely waterproof... if closed correctly. However, it would be better if the reflective patches were RED instead of white. Because they show to the rear of the bike, white is quite wrong. *White reflectors to the front, red to the rear.*
Im wondering if I should go with the 20 liter or the 40 liter. I have a road bike and would be doing a week or to of bike packing What do you think i should go with?
I have the 40 litre. They can roll up relatively small. For communing 20 L and perhaps 40L for touring. That's my set up at least. Hope that helps a little 👍
