Just an observation, but I think it would be better to add the lettuce after the hot meat and cheese. It would stay fresher and not wilt so much.
Dont take it personal taking care of my elderly family i notice theyre palates change their taste buds are sensitive everything is overly salty especially if they have hypertension. Just something I've noticed.

I have to use more salt than I usually would when cooking for my kids because they don't have salt restrictions and they’re taste buds are different when it comes to salt. What taste salty to me taste normal to them.
