- This is my first proper gameplay of the Spearmaster in the Downpour DLC. I start off by exploring the extended Outskirts before heading through the Drainage System, which contains a new dynamic water level mechanic in a few rooms.
I know uncut gameplay was the least popular choice of new content, but I want to do at least a little bit from time to time so that I can find new areas to record ambience of without spoiling myself the experience and so that I could make more educated videos about Downpour.

From what I've seen from this, Spearmaster seems to like cyan lizards or find them cute, 11:18. You can see the iconic circle pattern on the side of the lizard that cyans have. Although this doesn't seem to apply to all lizards based on the other drawing, 34:45. I can't tell exactly what kind of lizard it is a drawing of, but I think it's a red lizard due to its long tail and that it has legs.
or probably long mint lizard in rivulet
@@cindiTheKneeStriker Those are eelzards (I think), and they don't have any legs, hence why I specified the legs.
Explains why a cyan lizard got tamed by one jumpy cricket.

I dont know How the karma system of this game works,but If It aways goes up no matter what when hibernating then i wonder If you could use the area with the popcorn plants besides the safe area to speedrun Max karma.
I mean,stabing those plants did seem pretty effective,and i dont think It was that Far from the gate at the start.
The hunter on steroids
Tbh i feel like hunter is better, to get food from enemies you constantly need to boner up new spears. And hunter just eats.
@@aarepelaa1142 But to eat as the hunter you need to kill the would be food with a spear
Spearmaster draw’s back is the lack of mouth for storage and absorbing food from spear usually give less food total compare to eat directly as other slugcats.
So Spearmaster need to hunt more to fill it stomach.
At least you get to have infinite spear supply which still has a value for trading, to destroy Scavengers economy and get cheap reputations.
You also can’t eat fruits and jellyfish with spear as well, so it’s all about hunting. Although you can still absorb karma flower, popcorn, and mushroom.
