I remember learning about Black Metal, with its unknowable paths leading ever downwards, ever deeper, ever darker. I remember learning about Varg and the others, about what they did, imagined how it must have felt to be part of that special kvlt at that special time. Too much to put into words Its been many years since I got into it, and there is nothing quite like it either. Its not just the music either or the guitars, the drums, the synths, the eerie vocals. You just can't describe this to outsiders. You can't put into words the depth of this genre of music and its surrounding tales and storys and the feelings that it causes. This whole phenomenon is something that gives you the strong urge to share this depth, while being eternally unsharable. You either find your own path towards the black arts or you don't find there at all. It can't be shown to you, you need to get there on your own.
One of the most illuminating comments about our beloved genre that I have ever read. I feel every damn word. I'm a normal fella who goes with friends to nightclubs n stuff, and listen to every genre, but Black Metal is something that one enjoys and discovers in solitude...
More absolutely beautiful masterpieces from varg that inspires us all do follow our dreams and appreciate the finer things in life like the muse also known as music. Rock on varg ✌😷🤘

These are unreleased tracks from the early 90s and early 2000s so of course they don't sound like Burzum. I would provide links to his videos with them but as we all know his channel was taken down.

These are all by Varg himself. The uploader just compiled them into an "album". There were much more unreleased/rehearsal songs of Burzum's stuff, I bet you could find atleast a few reuploaded by now.

It contains indescribable beauty.
I will not abandon Varg.
@Hello Friend no true pagan will ever abandon his/her sorcerer ;)
Lmao he doesn't give a fuck you
I don't know the right words to express how good this is
Would be good if Varg still had yt to verify this, as he often would do in the comments.
Varg already verified it. All the songs here were taken from the Burzum Museum guys channel which was also deleted by UA-cam.

Magical as always...
The album cover of Hvis lyset tar oss was Theodor Kittelsens drawing Hakkespett(1912). Great artist he was.
....and so was the album cover from Filosofem. (Op under Fjeldet toner en Lur)
The cover for "Hvis..." ist the "Fattigmannen" painting...

anybody has context about the content of this bootleg?
Strange world first track before Burzum?
Es una buena rola yeeea burzum
Is that first song not called forbears?
Atmospheric shit, but it lacks a good production. Still Varg creates his own dimension here, as usual.
It was downgraded and includes dings now. Some of these were made by Varg when he was around 14-15 as well.

This sounds nothing like varg - iIMHO it's an attempt to sound like Burzum, but not succeding. The use of Kittelsen pics doesn't really legitimise it.
