Suggestion for a detail: In Code Vein, if you leave your character idle for about 2 minutes in a bed at Home Base, they will begin falling asleep, closing their eyes and leaning their head to their left. At around 7 minutes left idle, they will turn onto their left side, having fully fallen asleep. Pressing the cancel button from there, your character will get up, and stretch once they've gotten out of bed as if they've just had a very nice nap. It's a small thing that Bandai Namco went out of their way to include in it.
@@ChrisBeYT I was genuinely surprised the first time I saw it. I had just come back from an excursion to... somewhere, but then I realized I needed more snacks and drinks and there's a 7-Eleven within walking distance of my house. So I plopped my character into the bed and headed out. When I came back, they were on their side, fast asleep. (The walk to and from the 7-Eleven is about 15 minutes total, by the way) ...it wasn't until the other day when I actually decided to check how long it actually takes.
Suggestion for a detail: when u look closely at the finger placement of every agent in cs2 , u will find out that every terrorist has his finger on the trigger and every counter terrorist has his finger off the trigger . ( visible only when inspecting the agents )
In the game Ground Branch, you are able to shoot a gun in the middle of a reload animation, doing so will obviously make it to where there is no bullet in the chamber. When you go to shoot once the reload animation is over, your weapon won't fire and you have to load another round into the chamber to fire again.
I think there's also trigger discipline details in Helldivers 2. They leave their finger off the trigger when idle, reloading, or at any break interval between fire bursts. The only time they keep the finger on the trigger is when they're aiming.
Fun fact: in cult of the lamb if you kill sozo ( the little mushroom guy) and butcher them neat attention to detail will occur ( it takes a while to get sozo tho)
Basically the only thing that game has going for it is the weapon animators. They got some really good talent for the gun designs and animations, but the rest of the game is sloppy as hell.

Heyo Captain, I really enjoyed the trigger discipline detail. It regularly bothers me when games don't show good trigger discipline and I always notice when they don't. Which leads me to why i am commenting. The fairly new Palworld game has you using handguns and rifles in the late game and I noticed very quickly it is a game that shows off great trigger discipline. Your character will keep their finger off the trigger until you aim down the sights and are ready to fire, and if you are viewing it from the side as another player you can even see the minor detail of the finger squeezing the trigger whenever the player shoots. It is small, but probably perfect for this series.
haha I was looking to see if anyone else caught that. It shows very poor trigger discipline because your finger should remain on the trigger if you're pointing your firearm at a target you intend to destroy. You take your finger off the trigger when you return to a high or low ready stance. Not while you're still pointing.
In the Darkness 2 you get the opposite of "good trigger discipline"! It's one of the few games that your character's trigger fingers actually move as you pull your trigger and relax if you let go!

I think I found a hidden detail similar to the train blocking you from going out of bounds in Hitman. I was replaying Rise of the Tomb Raider and there's a mission where you have to take a short cut through a cave with Jacob, I think to get to his village. If you turn around when the game cuts to you in the cave and walk the path to where you came in, rocks will fall and cave in, preventing you from leaving. It just happened to cave in when Jacob said it was safe. 😭
in satisfactory, there are some naruto and cowbow easter eggs with the emotes and other things. sometimes, when doing "clap" emote, the player will instead do jutsu hand signs that shoots out red bugs in multiplayer, when sprinting, the animation will do naruto run. lastly, when doing "twirl" emote, the ADA system will sometimes say one of 3 cowboy-like lines checked out the wiki cuz triggered the clap thing myself once yesterday, but cant get it again so idk enough
MGS4 & MGS5 both have the same detail regarding trigger discipline, if the player fires the gun then Snake/Big Boss will put their fingers on the trigger, only to then move it off again if you don't fire after a while. I think a few Tom Clancy games also do this, which is pretty impressive considering they are third-person games with distant camera views so a small detail like that wouldn't normally be considered.
Detail I Experienced: In cyberpunk, when your with Panam Palmer In (I think the 3rd mission) the Van, she’ll ask you if you’ve lost anyone, V can tell Panam About Jackie, (I thought it was a throwaway line) later in the mission when you are with panam and the veteran nomads at a Campfire. when you choose the “Drink to Scorpion” extra dialogue option after rasing the toast to the fallen, Panam will say:“and to Jackie Wells” Just Something Interesting I noticed as it was happening.
Suggestion for detail: In Urban Chaos: Riot response (old but such an underrated game) on the news broadcasts at the start of each level has the actual time that's on your console (works on Xbox, not sure about PS2)
Gloomwood's sure is sadistically smart. Hope they don't overuse such a subversive trope on 0451 though. Wonder if SCP 5000's first detail is a nod to some SCP mythos tales taking shade on certain characters' trigger disciplines?
Just a little one, unsure if you've covered before - in Far Cry 5 there are wanted posters that appear every now and then with your character on them. Cool little detail.
Don't know if this is in other games or has been covered. But in Crysis 2 + 3, possibly 1 as well. If you reload a gun that uses bullets when the mag isn't empty, the gun will have a full mag plus one in the chamber. This is also reflected in the ammo indicator.
Now there are two details in Return of the Mammalians, Splatoon 3’s single player mode, that I think are really cool. The first detail involves Smallfry, the player character’s Salmonid buddy. If you are idle in Alterna and Smallfry is out of the pouch on your back, he will hum the most famous song made by the Squid Sisters: Calamari Inkantation. It seems the Octolings weren’t the only moved by that song. And the second detail involves your character’s Skill Tree, though you unfortunately have to make two separate Switch users and be an Inkling on one Switch user and an Octoling on the other Switch user to notice this, but the Skill Tree looks normal, but if you look really closely, you will notice that the Skill Tree has an outline of the Swim Form of the species you chose to play as. If you chose Inkling, the Skill Tree’s outline is the Swim Form of the Inklings, while if you chose Octoling, the Skill Tree’s outline is the Swim Form of the Octolings. It’s a pretty neat detail that blew my mind, and is a shame not a lot of people notice because a lot of people just choose to play as Octolings in Splatoon 3.
In black ops 2, in the mission old wounds if you decide to not get on your horse, if you look around enough there is a sword you can pick up and use in the mission.
From what I've heard, there is a detail in GTA Online. There's these things called stash houses and after you break into one, you have to break into a safe and retrieve it's contents. Well if you go to enter the code on the safe but don't enter the code and go afk, your character will stare at the camera as if they're telling you to hurry up.
not really an easer egg but a neat detail nonetheless, in armored core VI, if you stun a enemy while they are talking they will shut up, can be tricky to pull off
Have you covered the details in Delta Force : Black Hawk Down ? For exemple, if you kill a team-mate in certain mission, an helicopter will come with medics and extract the body. (Possible in Mission 3 : River Raid)
Small details in 2 games. In Devil May Cry 3 the mission numbers are hidden somewhere in the background and in Devil May cry 4 in the intro cinematic where Nero is fighting enemies Dante can be seen watching Nero
Ok, I recently got spider man 2 and I am not sure if this is a Easter egg, but with the Howard side mission when you fly with the birds, Peter will say, “that’s were I’d wanna live, if I wisha bird.” Which might be an Easter egg to the hello everyone anime cat tries to speak English meme
This isn't a big deal nowadays but back then it was impressive, in Duke Nukem Time to Kill you can find toilets sometimes and duke can actually relieve himself, in the 1st stage when entering the subway you will find a few vending machines, a soda machine and a cigarette machine, interacting with the soda machine will give you health while using the cigarette machine will make you lose health indicating that smoking is bad for your health, another one is the giant bird thing boss fight, it's usual attacks is shooting fire ball and the stage has place where you can dive underwater, do just that and the boss can't attack you with it's fireball unless you surface and anyfire ball shot will disappear when it hits the water, like I said nothing new these days but back then it was impressive details.
The lab section on the level "What Lies Below" Timesplitters: Future Perfect has some pretty cool detail if you mess around with the computer terminals with the Dr Peabody and zombie in the test chambers, you'll find a plethora of cool details and things you can do!
@CaptainEggcellent you can turn the scientist in the test chamber into a zombie, make them explode, turn them into electric/fire zombies. There's a one that makes their heads balloon to double the size and explode. The games are COVERED in details and easter eggs!
Fun detail in Saints Row the third in the mission party time the elevator code is 3131 which is a reference to Saints Row 1’s mission all the kings men where Stefan will give the playa the same number for the elevator in that mission.
In Mass Effect Legendary Edition the default Female Shepard’s hair changes slightly in between games. In ME 1 and 2 her hair is messy and unkempt and in 3 it’s much less messy. It’s super small but I think it’s worth pointing out.
Suggestion for easter egg/referance(s): ı don't know if you already included in your videos but there is a skyrim (arrow) reference in dave the diver, also gordon ramsay and couple of 4th wall breaks!
I don’t know if you already did this one but in gears 5 if you do escape with a character that isn’t wearing a helmet they will put a mask on and if they are they won’t
I haven't suggested it for a while, so I assume it's not considered interesting enough, but I still would love if there was a feature about my favorite game (Nomad by GameTek). I mean, it's not exactly a well known game, so the ending possible-glitch-but-possibly-intended aspect that happens if you destroy the boss at the same time your ship is destroyed might not be so noteworthy. And other aspects might be too minute. However, I find them interesting because, again, it's my favorite game. Maybe at least it could be considered easter eggs for the Space Mountain references. Yeah, those are holdovers from when the game had a Disney license, but they were kept in, with the design of your ship and the name of your personal log. The latter could have been especially changed, so that feels more intentional of a thing to leave in. On those notes, though, the game does have some interesting references in the names of different races you encounter. I haven't looked them all up, but it seems there's some references to areas in California and Nevada: The Arden may have been named after Nevada's town of Arden. The Shaasa seem quite definitively named after Shasta County, in Northern California. The Pahrump must have been named after Pahrump, Nevada. Now, the other races (Musin, Ursur, Chanticleer, Phelonese, Bellicosian, Altec Hocker, Kenelm, and Korok) could be ones that aren't references. However, Chanticleer is the name of a Sacramento voice ensemble (and considering the race is all female and therefore none can be a rooster, their name has to have come from somewhere else). Could be they and the Kenelm are a reference to Chaucer, though. If more people played the game, there would likely be more people finding possible references or the like.
The license plate detail is also in Dead Island. All the cars in the game have license plates that say D34D1574ND.

1:00 Oddly enough, I have a similar thing with Oxenfree 1. The day I got it was a gray drizzly day and it fit the vibe of the game well, ended up finishing it same day.
Small sugestion for a future detail video!
In Blasphemous (the first one), when you are fighting against Isidora the voice of the Death and you try to pause or change your equipment in mid-battle a Secret message Will pop-up, and you Will not be able of pause the game, being the only boss (that i saw) that have this detail
100% thought you were gonna say "this is a dance that became meme royalty because it's in Fortnite."
@ 5.11 on the ozzy setting im pretty sure the credit where its due is a nod to the film chopper
Kung Fu Chaos had a bunch of great voices lines when waiting in menus or on game levels
Suggestion for Detail:
in Infamous second son, if you use the smoke ability and try the smoke bomb on water ( like the founten next to the space needle) the bomb wont explode because its in water. Love this detail
in satisfactory, there are some naruto and cowbow easter eggs with the emotes and other things.
sometimes, when doing "clap" emote, the player will instead do jutsu hand signs that shoots out red bugs
in multiplayer, when sprinting, the animation will do naruto run.
lastly, when doing "twirl" emote, the ADA system will sometimes say one of 3 cowboy-like lines
checked out the wiki cuz triggered the clap thing myself once yesterday, but cant get it again so idk enough
I'd like to thank the academy for my contribution!
Detail I Experienced:
In cyberpunk, when your with Panam Palmer In (I think the 3rd mission) the Van, she’ll ask you if you’ve lost anyone, V can tell Panam About Jackie, (I thought it was a throwaway line)
later in the mission when you are with panam and the veteran nomads at a Campfire.
when you choose the “Drink to Scorpion” extra dialogue option after rasing the toast to the fallen, Panam will say:“and to Jackie Wells”
Just Something Interesting I noticed as it was happening.
Suggestion for detail:
In Urban Chaos: Riot response (old but such an underrated game) on the news broadcasts at the start of each level has the actual time that's on your console (works on Xbox, not sure about PS2)
I can't explain how accurate you are about playing certain games during certain weather conditions. I can't play Tony Hawk unless the sun is out. 😂
I just love how the hard hat itself also has the same design / pattern as the MegaMan Mettaur... Coincidence? I think not.
Didn't expect to see SCP:5K here 😭
Now there are two details in Return of the Mammalians, Splatoon 3’s single player mode, that I think are really cool.
Didn't you already covered the SCP 5K trigger discipline or am I misremembered it?
I covered the game last week, but this is the first time I’ve covered this detail
@@CaptainEggcellent oh my bad. Sorry man
In black ops 2, in the mission old wounds if you decide to not get on your horse, if you look around enough there is a sword you can pick up and use in the mission.
One game that has trigger discipline is days gone. When aiming, Deacons finger is on the trigger, but when not aiming, his finger is off the trigger.
You were right! My sausage sandwich was VERY impressed!
4:35
I find it funny how litterly every vr game with guns has this but so little consol/ PC games have this feature 😂
In Resident Evil Village, you can can kill the Dimitrescus sisters in a particular order and you can get many different lines of dialogue
He covered that already
@@swag4jag559 I know, but if he kills Cassandra first

Days Gone Deacon shows trigger discipline
From what I've heard, there is a detail in GTA Online. There's these things called stash houses and after you break into one, you have to break into a safe and retrieve it's contents. Well if you go to enter the code on the safe but don't enter the code and go afk, your character will stare at the camera as if they're telling you to hurry up.
Just went back to play Starfield and found out that you can run into The Hunter at the beginning of the game when you first land in New Atlantis.
Leon in re4 remake also shows good gun safety and trigger discipline
The safe code is also written on glowing in the dark ink. There is legitimate stuff in there. Suppose you could use it as a boobytrap for hunters.
not really an easer egg but a neat detail nonetheless, in armored core VI, if you stun a enemy while they are talking they will shut up, can be tricky to pull off
Have you covered the details in Delta Force : Black Hawk Down ?
OK that SCP one is glorious
In Destiny 1 and 2 the hammers on the hand cannons are reactive to how much pressure you put on the trigger
Any examples?
@CaptainEggcellent you can turn the scientist in the test chamber into a zombie, make them explode, turn them into electric/fire zombies. There's a one that makes their heads balloon to double the size and explode. The games are COVERED in details and easter eggs!
@CaptainEggcellent and there's also an Ozzy Osbourne easter egg on that same level who's feeding "Princess" his name is "Lenny Oldburn" :D
Alot of vr shooters have good trigger discipline
I remember in GTA V/Online, the player character would have good trigger discipline while behind a corner/wall.
Week 2 of suggesting the metro series and the pneumatic weapons being harder to pump the higher the gauge is.
Aren’t you in the UK? Isn’t it always raining and gloomy?
Believe it or not, no!
Suggestion for easter egg/referance(s):
ı don't know if you already included in your videos but there is a skyrim (arrow) reference in dave the diver, also gordon ramsay and couple of 4th wall breaks!
Greyzone Warfare has the same trigger discipline
Right at the 1:24 mark of the video you actually pass by some graffiti that says "Don't Write" and "You're Fault"
I don’t know if you already did this one but in gears 5 if you do escape with a character that isn’t wearing a helmet they will put a mask on and if they are they won’t
not a big thing but in Gloom Wood the "451" code does not make just that safe explode it makes any safe you enter that code into explode
In Duke Nukem TTK you can find Delorian in Wild West Cave level.
Covered that a couple of episodes back!
In mw2 when you start moving with a pistol your operator shows trigger discipline like at 4:50
woah woah woah are you telling me the plot of another crabs treasure is you didnt pay your taxes? hell yeah, i got a new game to play
I haven't looked them all up, but it seems there's some references to areas in California and Nevada:
The Arden may have been named after Nevada's town of Arden.
I'm surprised I haven't seen any thing from ultrakill yet
