Thank you so much for this video. My granddaughter had asked me to make her Barbie a big hoodie so I used you tutorial but with bigger needles and some extra cast on stitches. I added a crochet hood and a little front pouch bit. It looks great and she will love it..
Love this pattern so simple and easy to modify. I made a sweater for Buddy the elf on the shelf and now I’m making one for my newly acquired 18 inch Our Generation doll using bulky 5 and 12mm needles, it looks like it will fit so far 😊 Oh and I’m simple I just use paper and pencil to keep track of all my projects, I’ve tried using apps etc and I just don’t always trust technology, have lost things doing it that way in the past.
I’m so glad you are changing and adapting the pattern to what you want it to be. I love having been able to give you the baseline and you taking off with. Good for you!! You are awesome🌹
Super cute sweater and easy to make. You explain very well! I always write down my patterns in a notebook, this way I will have reference for when I stop and start never missing a row. Then if I want to make it again I am able to. Thank you for sharing your creative idea with us knitters.

Super easy, last time I knitted I was 9 or 10, I started again following the explanation at 47 and 3rd time it came up decent, will keep practicing with your tutorials ❤
Thank you for sharing! I am new at knitting. I started a sweater for 1957 Shirley. Got back done then got stuck. Been looking on videos for help. Your video gave me what I needed. Thank you so much.
Hi I just bought the written instructions on Etsy. I'm half way. Loving it! ❤ But I didn't get the download. It's not on purchases. I'm gonna send a message through Etsy too.
I use the Clover red and blue row counters. Just put on the end of one the needles of straight needles or in the middle of the cord on circular needles.

My granddaughter has asked me to knit her a sleeping bag for her Barbie, would like to know if you have ever tried knitting one if so would yo have a pattern please? Looking for Christmas gift ideas now! Thank you in advance.
Thank you for your time and help 🙏 🎉! I just caught where you said, you do a little loom knitting? I might be looking in the wrong place but I haven't seen any? If you don't have any posted, it would be awesome if you could loom knit B, oops, fashion doll clothes? And keep them on UA-cam? I'm recovering from surgery right now, but will try to send you pictures of my Chelsea doll hybrids sized clothing? There's a lot more I need to learn, but I'm hanging in there, I'm hooked! 😆
It's taking me a while to get the sizes down even from fashion doll sizes and I use various sizes of small gauge looms. I'm using sock size looms. I'm not sure the size of 1,but the smallest 2 I use are 1/4 gauge? I use #2 yarns and crochet thread, and several nylon thread in #2-3s. They were on clearance sale. Any suggestions will be appreciated ❤! Thanks again 😊
Great project! I,too, struggled with Purling with yarn held with left hand. Check out the Norwegian Purl! Yarn is held in left hand, but is not pulled forward-something I struggle with. It’s a bit of a dance, but Arne (‘Arne and Carlos’ also ‘Very Pink Knits’ on UA-cam) can Fly with his Norwegian Knit & Purl!
The best thing I find by knowing how to do both, if I’m using 2 colours I can hold my working yarn, 1 in each hand. I can fly through projects that way.
For those confused by the vague knitting needle size given at the beginning, "3 3/4 mm" = 3.75mm / US 5 or size F. (The way it's written, it appears we need three needles that are 3/4 mm each. Notating it as "3-3/4" or "3.75" would have been clearer and more accurate.)
Thank you for this tutorial my Grandson wants me to make a sweater for his Elf on the shelf, I started making this sweater and when I got to the 6 rows for the sleeves I'm kinda lost I know you did the first row as a purl row with the 1st two stitches and last 2 stitches with a knit stitch and you stated do this only on the purl row so I'm taking it that you alternate the rows with one being a purl row and the next a knit row I hope this is correct. Please advise Thank you
when you do the purl row where you cast on your last 6 stitches and continue to purl, you said that we need to add 6 more rows does the row where you cast on the last 6 stitches count as row one ? than the next row would be knit, etc. sorry I just wanted to make sure that I'm doing this right. I've never knitted a sweater before.
I would love to see your loom knit version. Check the description for a link to my fb crafting group. Sorry no pattern yet. I will add it to my list of this to do.

Hello from Canada 🇨🇦
Thank You for such a great uncomplicated pattern. I can't wait to make this. If I use thinner yarn do I have to add extra stitches to the cast on?
No you don’t just use the same size needles.
Thank you so much , it's cute 😍
Good job , i subscribed ur channel 🙋🙋

Very pretty 💖 it 🤩
