Many go back to the activity wiser and work on their technique to prevent it from reoccurring. Chantal takes a sledgehammer to herself by comparison and demands to be coddled for it.

Those are difficult moments for them but most understand it's for their own good to not do it anymore and they find something else to fulfill their lives. Chantal by comparison refuses to quit the very thing that's objectively killing her.
My dad is on insulin 2 times a day morning and night. He definitely is hungry alot and on 5 meds like Chantal but has done so much damage he might need a new kidney. I'm pushing him to ask for Monjauro to get off some of the meds/insulin and bp meds. It helps protect kidneys, heart (had heart attack at 47), and liver. After being diagnosed diabetic last November I got scared and I got my butt into gear with Monjauro. I went from 200lbs 5'7 38% body fat to 125lbs 15% body fat. But I've been lifting for 9 months, now have a personal trainer for gaining muscle mass and gaining weight I'd like to get up into the 150s. 🎉 but my stubborn dad just makes me so sad. Hes been really wheezing like Chantal and it just hits me hard!! Wants to eat like Chantal!!
So rages used to be rare occurrences that had an obvious triggering incident, but now they seem to happen almost daily triggered only by her self imposed miserable existence. The old adage "absence makes the heart grow fonder" feels appropriate because she's killed the novelty of the rages by existing in one for days at a time.
Her argument "most of them aren't even married" meaning they cannot criticize her marriage because they don't know how marriage works, while she keeps criticizing parents and people's ways of raising children saying "... and I can say this even though I'm not a mother!" .. that's just rich
Chantal is so very ignorant that she doesn't understand the differences between an injury and a disability. Injuries can lead to disability, but in general it affects the person for a finite period of time. A disability is a way of life where you have to use critical thinking to accomplish things in your own way when you can't do them in the way that average-abled people do.

Yeah. Thats an actual thing. My mother actually behaves very similar to foodie minus the ED. My mom LOVES drama and arguing. It’s so hard to be around her. Because if there is no drama my mom will create it. It’s like they get off on the anger and rage. It’s something to do. If nothing is going on in my mom’s life and it’s actually peaceful she looks for problems and makes them. I absolutely hate it because it’s caused me so much trauma and distress. Foodie is exactly the same.
