This video is so helpful! As a real estate investor and content creator, I can totally relate to the process you're explaining here. It's crucial for anyone buying a new home to understand these steps. Thanks!
Thank you so much for all this information!! You just provide/build so much confidence on what we need to do. I would definitely call you if I was in DFW, Im buying in Melbourne FL. But THANK YOU so much for all amazing guidance!
Any opinion or experience with Bloomfield Homes? Advice? I’m meeting with a community manager in Granbury TX next week to pick out a pre built inventory house? Anything specific to watch out for?
Bloomfield is a very solid builder to take a look at. They build a very great home. You can usually find some really good deals and incentives on their inventory. Top notch customer service has been my experience selling bloomfield. Regardless who built it make sure to get a third party inspection before closing. If you need some additional help shoot me an email hello@zakschmidt.com
Thank you so much for making this video. We are in the process of closing on an inventory home in San Antonio. The view is beautiful the carpet is a Vanilla color. With three kids is giving me second thoughts. The realtor told me that it can’t be changed. Can I do anything about it this point? Thanks
Of course. I would say in regards to the carpet it doesnt hurt to ask. Depending on the builder they may be able to change it out (you'd pay for it but would probably be cheaper than doing after the fact). And roll it in to the cost of the home. I would say just be kind, have them ask and see what happens. Who is the builder? Or if you change it out after the fact you may find some one that would give you a good deal because you could give them the brand new carpet in the home.
Zack. I’m currently in a VA (veteran) home in Maryland but plan to get new construction home with you. I plan to use equity from this house to put down on the new one. Do I need to see this house first before getting new one built?
Depends. You will need your earnest money at time of contract. But balance shouldn’t be due until closing. So if you can qualify for both mortgages then no. But if you need the money yes. But not before contracting just before completion
