- hey guys just tweaking my pvp team around trying Damien on it, and also I was wondering if thoran should get a little nerf or do u think he is fine the way he is for pvp?

In PvP Thoran is kinda op due to his massive burst. In PvE he is only like kinda decent. the thing I dont really like about him is how unfair he feels. As long as he gets an ult he can wipe even a much stronger enemy. Makes me think I should try Cascade Spell to get Thoran an Ult in Supreme Arena and build some mean cheese around it 😂
Yea I agree. PvE he feels ok or even a little weak, but pvp he is to much imo. And I've had the same idea about building a thoran meme team with like all healers or something. We should both test some stuff!
@@browniegames865that the reason i think he has some bug. You dont know when he'll wipe you or no.
Maybe making it so Thoran's energy resets to 0 when he revives would be enough to balance it? Part of the issue seems to be he keeps his energy after you kill him so he stands back up and ults immediately.
Yea his garunteed Ults are a bit of a pain in the butt

Kings don’t get nerfed bruh 😂😂😂 you really want to see players leave the game just because some ppl want him nerfed.. I don’t think the devs would like that.
A lot of people think he needs nerfed. I doubt a lot of people would leave the game if thoran got a pvp nerf. He isn't good for the games pvp scene (as in he limits team building variation) atm he needs rebalanced, and if people quit cause of rebalance then they probably shouldn't play games like this. That kind of stuff happens all the time.
I run thoran, smokey, coco, odie and brutus. but i feel like thoran dies easily on his 1st life then suddenly becoming tanky after being resurected lol

I'd say no he doesn't. He is on the verge off falling off anyway. If Talene can shield Dionel like Thoran, Thoran will be gone and replaced with Phraesto in God Comp. Then all he will be used for is his revive on two of the DR bosses and Supreme Arena.
You're talking some big whale talk there my guy, he's not going anywhere for 99% of the player base.
@@Ryarat Haha I know. But I also thing they need to stay away from nerfs. If anything they should do the same thing they had done in Arena where certain characters were banned different weeks. Of course back then Eironn was banned like 3 weeks out of the month.
Banned heroes on certain weeks would be kind of crazy

The reason why not so many mele heroes are used in pvp is because of thoran, he nukes them all by himself
Yep which limits people's ability to use a variety of heroes. I hate that.
Thoran have some kind of bug wich make he does more damage than supposed, im sure.
Well it's based off the damage he takes during his charge so some of his Ults will be op af or they could be pretty weak.

Execute's not working on Thoran is stupid since his description doesn't say he's immune to them. They could just change it and call it a bug fix.
Can you do a run against Eiron/Damian/Hewyn/Arden/Thoran, using Koko/Bryon/Seth/Shakir/Hewyn ??
Yea I'm working on some videos and I actually just hit Shakir to Paragon so will be testing that a lot. So yea I'll do some fights with the teams u mentioned.
Yes, he is. Thoran and Eiron need reworks big time. I mostly run Cecia teams, managed to hold onto the top 25 ish for a while as a free to play player.

If you deplete Thorin’s health, it should stop his ULT. It doesn’t right now. That is the frustrating part.
Yea I agree 100% he shouldn't get a garunteed ultimate.
He's absolutely a problem. Thoran is on 17 teams in the top 20. 1 guy is running Ulmus, 1 Granny, #1 is running full paragon Stargazer. Outside of that he's on the vast majority of teams in top 100, whether they run Eironn or not.
He clutches games so hard it's just insane, and you have to deal with him 3 times. The only work around that I've found is to try to gun down his teammates fast enough so you can gang up on him at the end. Koko can helps if she survives the initial exchange.
I'm building Scarlita now, she's the only hero in the game that bybasses his 3 lives. And there's no better hero for surviving the initial volley from the Eironn comp than her.
Last thing can you cover some options for defense? It's a bit tricky to run an off meta defense because the Eironn team scares off some absolute monsters like Vala, Odie and Cecia but you'll see them if you don't run the typical Eironn defense.
Yea I'll see what I can do about some defense stuff. And yea his 3 lives in just way to much in pvp.
Have you tried running the comp with scarlita instead of bryon? If im not wrong you have a pretty decently built scarlita and im not sure why you are using bryon over her. She gives more faction bonus with the koko variant and may be able to protect seth and your healers much more.
Yea scarlita works great on the team it's stronger with her, I've been testing teams without hypogeans or celestial lately for people who don't have them.
Thoran is kinda yesterday's news. Pairing Ulmus with the Eironn comp appears to be more deadly. Can you please show how your mauler formation with Seth does against Ulmus comps?
Yea if I run into any ulmus I'll fight them for sure. I feel like my server district is dieing tho. 😢

Nah thoran is just broke, he is a tank who caries, i run the ulmus now and it does increase effinciency against some random teams like cecia and its deadly, but in eironn mirrors it realy didnt change anything.
@@AS-dl2vp I asked this UA-camr specifically to try against ulmus because maulers destroy eironn comps with thoran but against eironn comps with ulmus, maulers are struggling. I wanted to see how his mauler comp did against ulmus.
@@citizencr4o Fair, i could see that as semeone who have had this defense i can see that. There was one player who was pestering me with Zeebo's bryon alsa couinter team and once i changed thoran to ulmus, he cant win anymore. It didnt help me in the mirror though, so i further changed the defense.
Changed from runinng Koko to damian, is that doing better ? Thoran is overtuned indeed

@@browniegames865 whats your default team to climb back ranks now ? i have a few paragon tier arden carolina teams on my server and i am not sure what should i try to get beat it, the non paragon version i defeat with shakir kokie odie hewynn, but paragon version my koko hewyn die before they can even get to ult
It would be interesting if thoran's damage was divided amongst everyone in his range. Right now he does 1x damage if he hits 1 person and 5x if he hits 5 people.
It would be better if he did 1x hitting 1 person and 0.2x on each hitting 5 people.
