Thoran have some kind of bug wich make he does more damage than supposed, im sure.

The reason why not so many mele heroes are used in pvp is because of thoran, he nukes them all by himself

In PvP Thoran is kinda op due to his massive burst. In PvE he is only like kinda decent. the thing I dont really like about him is how unfair he feels. As long as he gets an ult he can wipe even a much stronger enemy. Makes me think I should try Cascade Spell to get Thoran an Ult in Supreme Arena and build some mean cheese around it 😂

Have you tried running the comp with scarlita instead of bryon? If im not wrong you have a pretty decently built scarlita and im not sure why you are using bryon over her. She gives more faction bonus with the koko variant and may be able to protect seth and your healers much more.

Maybe making it so Thoran's energy resets to 0 when he revives would be enough to balance it? Part of the issue seems to be he keeps his energy after you kill him so he stands back up and ults immediately.

If you deplete Thorin’s health, it should stop his ULT. It doesn’t right now. That is the frustrating part.

I run thoran, smokey, coco, odie and brutus. but i feel like thoran dies easily on his 1st life then suddenly becoming tanky after being resurected lol I hope they nerf eironn. tired of seing that comp in pvp. no fun

Thoran is kinda yesterday's news. Pairing Ulmus with the Eironn comp appears to be more deadly. Can you please show how your mauler formation with Seth does against Ulmus comps?

He's absolutely a problem. Thoran is on 17 teams in the top 20. 1 guy is running Ulmus, 1 Granny, #1 is running full paragon Stargazer. Outside of that he's on the vast majority of teams in top 100, whether they run Eironn or not. He clutches games so hard it's just insane, and you have to deal with him 3 times. The only work around that I've found is to try to gun down his teammates fast enough so you can gang up on him at the end. Koko can helps if she survives the initial exchange. I'm building Scarlita now, she's the only hero in the game that bybasses his 3 lives. And there's no better hero for surviving the initial volley from the Eironn comp than her. Last thing can you cover some options for defense? It's a bit tricky to run an off meta defense because the Eironn team scares off some absolute monsters like Vala, Odie and Cecia but you'll see them if you don't run the typical Eironn defense.

It would be interesting if thoran's damage was divided amongst everyone in his range. Right now he does 1x damage if he hits 1 person and 5x if he hits 5 people. It would be better if he did 1x hitting 1 person and 0.2x on each hitting 5 people.

I'd say no he doesn't. He is on the verge off falling off anyway. If Talene can shield Dionel like Thoran, Thoran will be gone and replaced with Phraesto in God Comp. Then all he will be used for is his revive on two of the DR bosses and Supreme Arena.

Yes, he is. Thoran and Eiron need reworks big time. I mostly run Cecia teams, managed to hold onto the top 25 ish for a while as a free to play player.

Max out rowan cecia and vala and you can take 2 other random unit make sure faction bonus eat up eironn team like breakfast anyday, most ideal team would be probably thoran, cecia, vala, rowan, lucius. Rowan instant 3 potion not only tops up the unit instantly from eiron team initial burst also give magic and physical resistance which eiron team seems to reduce. You guys might be thinking can rowan heal enough? I've seen rowan healing more than hegwynn and smokie trust me. Dont underestimate rowan. Also once rowan and lucius start rolling you just never run out of shield.

Try your comp out against an Ulmus formation and show us a video result of that please. Ulmus-eironn comps are so annoying right now.

Im building a Mauler in my 2nd account. Actually im using some random. But i wanna try Lumont Satrana Alsa Shakir and Smokey.

Keep rocking the Maulers man! I beefed up my team substantially last night. Koko finally hit S+ and EX10, Vala was my first hero to hit Paragon and I got her to EX20. The top 20 wasn't ready ready for that. Odie was constantly killing Eironn off after his first ultimate and Vala just destroyed the backline while being protected with enlightening spell.

PVP sucks in this game unless you are whale - no use trying. It's free exp books for me

Can you do a vídeo showing how to counter Viperian team? Thoran liked in Hewynn with illum, Cecia between, Rowan side of Thoran and Viperian. Reiner only teleport Cecia Hewynn and Thoran, Viperian dont die in time before nuke. And a what lv of ur Seth weapon?

i think Shakir will block by Seth, since Seth is buffed and not affected by Eirronn, and Shakir will get cc-ed then run towards Eironn, so no much different if Shakir standing at the back.

I haven't had much luck with Alsa in Mauler teams, her rocks usually just block off Shakir and Brutus from the enemy backline or she dives in gets rooted and dies. 🤷‍♂️ I can see her working with Seth since he's much more mobile, but for my current roster she's a bad partner.

I never played afk arena. Does this company ever do balance updates? Eironn is probably the most broken character I have seen in a game ever. He's beyond akuma ssf2 levels of ridiculousness.

How does this do against the standard Arden + Carolina, Eironn teams. They have more burst in the beginning. Does your team survive to reach Koko/Hewynn ults? Or do you switch to a different build for that?

I had noticed that Hewynn is really good against Scarlita today, racking up several wins on defense against Eironn/Scarlita comps. Thanks to you I've been building Seth and Bryon, originally had planned on skipping them entirely. Thoughts on Brutus and Odie in pvp? Also any plans to build into Graveborn or Lightbearer for pvp?

Bryon has some crazy DPS despite not having any AoE's

I recently got S+ ex-10 Satrana. She seems great and acts as my main tank at times. With her invincibility and lifesteal, she is able to sometimes just avoid enemy ults.

Im trying to bring in salazar soon. I dont have seth but they seem like they would be a good pair.

I haven't built Seth or Scarlita yet, but I've been able to hold a top 20 with Shakir, Brutus, Koko, Odie and Reinier on offense. Unfortunately I still have to run the Eironn comp on defense, without Scarlita it's tough to run anything else. Eventually I want to transfer away from the Eironn comp entirely and leave it packed up on the shelf, F the meta.

Can you do a build focusing Cecia?

I think for Thoran, he has to be within 1 tile to “activate the ability”. Because I’ve seen him running around the battle field with full energy to come right next to the enemy. Then when he unleashes the dmg, it has the bigger range. So the ability has 2 ranges, and the wonky character page is only showing the first one.

3:20 Mockman can do a lot of stuff on solo and being a good burst hero, he can actually work well with Eloise like Tix normally does. And transition from Eloise as main hero into a tennant is seamless. HHA as second further buffs that trio, by himself being the best Eloise support. Getting those shields on everyone and making the whole group bulkier. I wish that on my OG account I went this immediately, because it would save me a lot of issues with support Aspen (on my baby accounts this worked well). 5:00 TBB is really the best support CC hero right now, so she is kinda always valid to have. Personally I would put her on fourth - if you are F2P, getting the cores can be stressful. Especially as in my opinion you also should be starting on DT for Mockman at this point, especially if you have enough speed either through awaken or treasures, to support him to just nuke through early VC stages. 5:40 The thing is - for F2P, directly from my experience, it takes time to gain enough CoT for next hero - which is perfect moment to push for the Aranea resources. Not gonna lie - on one account where I went Aranea over Aylamak first, especially when it comes to getting all the fun sublims, there was no major difference in progress. It has to be noted - that if you have the resources (especially as they give more free sublimation these days over core chests) - the Mockman-Aylamak-Aranea trio suddenly becomes really bulky and allows for more defensive approach to Mockman, which is helpful against Eloise or Mihm stages. And both tennant buffs make the nuke approach more secured. This with first DT level on Mockman easily can push up to free campaign DT materials income. With addition of TBB (or Aranea) as fourth, with all the new buffs and resources you gain through stages 2-X-X and 3-X-X, you can get go 4-X-X, with no overwhelming struggle. Especially, if you can get more resources and VC or speed treasures along the way. 6:20 F2P have a lot of cores. If you are at 3rd Trans - you actively had over a year, likely almost two of playing. And now TBB's core is in all the chests, not just in the newest events. Stacking all the cores for her and Mockman shouldn't be an issue. Mind you now core chests dropped one reward stage - sometimes given after artifact chests, but before sublimation (cores got pushed down by the new holy artifacts). 6:55 Hopefully they give us core swaps this Anniversary, but if not - just know that you should commit. Pick Mockman cores and just commit to him. The buffs for him are not drastic, but significant and can help you get to later stages, including ones that give you shards for other heroes (like Aranea or Ayalamak). It's good to utilise it before you fully focus on using TBB's core or in cases, where you split your teams or use him on solo. 8:50 F2P at four trans can support both TBB and Mockman's DT, what is it - five cores? Easily. 9:55 My argument is that - you have time, a lot of time as F2P or low-spender. That's enough events to fully push Aranea to the maximum support. Like you won't be getting her on DT yet, but other skills and bulk apply. Especially as you don't need any investment into TBB. For me the fifth would be Halora, for the previously mentioned buffs and then DGN. Unless Alakita throws whole thing around, which is possible, because she likely will bring speed buff and debuff support and we are getting new burst artifact, that may make Mockman even more deadly. The other thing is that even if they did finally make treasure train more viable for F2P - it's still not good buff source for F2P. At least not at 2-3 trans. You need more time to push through it, than getting free sublimation from events and chests. For BQA, you can go fully into the festival skin, X-levels and armour and you gonna get that more damage than Onikimaru could provide. And then with more subs, her CC, healing, buffs and shields become relevant. It's slowly stops being extra 700k and becomes few millions, which is a difference for Mockman of pushing certain levels or not. 11:40 The thing is - TBB's CC just shuts a lot of that already. And around 5-6-7 trans I already expect to have enough resources and cores to DT Aranea for the extra stuff she gets there. I just don't like the idea of suddenly quitting the general playstyle of focusing on the main hero and putting everything into him. For me the dissonance is in how fast P2W get their CoT and other supplies. It's just that you have a lot time between every time you get a new trans hero - enough to actually build upon them. So for me it's logical to maximise the home as fast as I can and still get all the benefits of all the other support heroes after BQA.
