Be it the lower back or upper back, exceeding anything past beyond the natural curvatures of the spine applies immense pressure to the vertebrae and increases the risk of injury. The mention of speed does not even belong in the topic- doing it faster, if anything, decreases the time under tension but does not take away the pressure the spine disks suffered during the lift. If that's your idea of lifting correctly and your opinion, please keep it to yourself- we already have enough "fitness people" in UA-cam promoting the worst kinds of things that end up putting people in hospitals.

      @@NeuronActivation not everybody. Olympic lifters who train exclusively without a belt, don't benefit from a belt at all. In fact, most of them report a belt making them weaker, because it gets in the way.

    When this video came out I had no idea who Pa was, and really didn’t care.
