LOGICS PRO X...I have PRO TOOLS but seem to go to LOGIC for my DAW. I have some out board gear but I Use most all PLUG-INS . AFter I Record a Vocal I EQ it then Ad The CLA-2A ( easy Compressor/Limiter ) from "WAVES". Then add another STOCK Compressor just below the CLA-2A.( I don't Crash the vocals too hard). Next is either my "LEXICON" PCM Rever Bundle.( SOUNDS SUPER GOOD. Just got it 4-5 months ago...This is What George Michael used on most all his vocal tracks.( has that little sizzle, PING at the end tail of the Verb.Next is Delay & sometimes I add another Delay called "SLAP BACK DELAY"... very close in ms. ( too make it sound PHAT) you can also grab a Pitch Shifter to two AUX Tracks and Detune Left side -6-10 cents then do the same to the Rt. + 6-10 cents...It Widens the Vocal ( Spreads it out ) Last sometimes I add a Saturation Plug-In but I mostly use that when I go to Master It. ( SORRY FOR THE LONG REPLY. I JUST GOT INTO THIS 2-3 YRS AGO) I'm a Wake Boarder :) Keep it UP! and you will see yourself grow fast. One thing I will say is that LEARN YOUR DAW!!!!!
