That looks chilly, and well done for getting up early. I once camped when it got to minus 6 overnight, but I didn't get out of the sleeping bag until the sun hit the tent. Then two hours standing in the sun trying to get warm. One question - did you notice your batteries lose charge in the cold?
haha, I was actually very cozy in my sleeping bag, but I wanted to see the frost covered swamp, knowing temperature would go up again. Yes, batteries do not like colder temps. When I filmed in the later afternoon the batteries run flat really quickly. For that reason I keep the batteries in my pocket and in my sleeping bag during the night.
